  1. looks like you guys had fun today. i'd be willing to make the trip for a meetup in philly, but the 6th-8th is totally off limits for me. Katsu better post some of his pics when he gets them developed, i want to see my Shoryuken in front of Pixie's apartment building.
  2. so... how do I get shirts without spending 1/3 of the price on shipping? I'd like as much of my purchase to actually go to OCR as possible... or should i just suck it up and spend $7 on shipping?
  3. i'm heading out in the next 10 minutes, i'm only 50 miles away so i'll be there by 12.
  4. you may be right, though i have converted it into a volleyball serve... as for the topic of the thread... I'd have to say Black Mage's Hadoken from 8-bit Theater, though the fighterdoken is pretty awesome too...
  5. I, like Xerol, have no one's numbers. I'd hate to miss this thing because I got lost in B-more and couldn't find the monument. and i have been known to get lost in Baltimore.... I can, at least for today, provide transportation for up to 3 people. T-minus 4 hours!
  6. if people bring sleeping bags, they could probably just line up on the floor in a living room or something. I know it's not an ideal solution, but it could work. also, I'm reconsidering my earlier statement about not sticking around for Sunday.
  7. which would you prefer? Wii or PS2 i'll only bring 1 system, and i have 2 Wiimote+nunchuck combos and 2 wiimotes, and 1 GC controller if we're doing Brawl.
  8. i just noticed this question, I have a PS2 that i can bring, i have several multiplayer games as well that i'll bring, but i want them back! Note: this makes me a definite for the meet up. how does one find the monument though? i don't go to bmore much so i have no idea...
  9. I'll see about showing up, I live near enough to B-more that it won't be a problem to come. maybe I'll bring some friends. I won't be able to participate in any of the "festivities" on Sunday though.
  10. Definitely epic, and some really strong imagery for me. listening to it feels almost like climbing a tower battling the orcs mentioned by zyko. then you get to the top around 3:05 and you think you've won... then the FF7 source shows up along with the evil overlord. i couldn't decide whether i had won or lost at the end though... moar plez!
  11. I don't know what I could do to help with this game, but toss a project my way and I'll see what I can do.
  12. guys, but as i understand it, there's still a ways to go, let's keep it up!
  13. $20 now, more after i get my tax return. I have to say that i have had more enjoyment from the music on this site than i can accurately describe. Rock on DJP and rock on OCR! Edit: I want to buy a shirt, but I'm worried that it won't be long enough...
  14. the half-track tread legs are sort of in between heavy and light, and make it possible to get there with enough life left to actually fight that sonofa... anyway, dual missile pods and one of the dual laser arms,(don't remember which) make him alot less difficult, just don't waste too much ammo getting there
  15. interestingly enough, i really like decay of hope, but there's only 1 feature of this mix that i like, the flute\pan pipe thing that starts at 0:28, who would ever think that such an innocent instrumant could be so dreadfully creepy?? i LOVE it. sadly, that's the only thing i like...
  16. WICKED SICK!! (i hope you'll forgive the lame UT plug...) but, this mix is freakin amazing, and i LOVE those voice clips from P.B. 0:15 - "All you people are so scared of me..." 0:42 - "It ain't me you better worry about now..." you got the other 2 right, but yeah, this mix is awesome S rank
  17. holy crap! the klaxon that intros the mix is in AvP Gold... man that's funny... anyway, that aside, i'm really diggin this mix, while i haven't heard the original, this is definatly well put together. the lead is excellent, tho i think it would have been fun to have it pan around a bit... the fade out ending is rather disapointing. i hate to end on a bad note, so... this mix has stood the test of time remarkably well, and is very much good stuff 9/10 definatly worth getting
  18. personally i prefer weaker drums for this kind of music, otherwise they drown out the melody. the bass level in this song could stand to be stronger, but otherwise i think it's golden.
  19. there's definatly something about licking a mountain dew at 1:22 and again at 1:52 i LOVE Bubble Bobble, and this is the funniest thing i have ever heard! the sheep ARE awesome too. there aren't words for how unintelligibly funny this is.
  20. if i can possibly come up with a problem with this remix, it's that it's TOO happy. seeing as how i've never run into that before, i give this a 10/10. having never played Puzzle Bobble i haven't heard the original, however, i HAVE played Bubble Bobble and i love it. YAY!
  21. I'm listening to the track while writing this, so bear with me. my only problem with this track is the FL riff sample that starts in at 0:14, while it works well enough for the place, it could have been filtered or something, anything so it wasn't so blatantly straight off the FL samples list. other than that, i love the song, even if it DOES sound lower than midi quality j/k, it's good. 8/10
  22. Hi everyone, i signed up a few days ago and posted couple times already before seeing this thread. anyway, i've been trying my hand at remixing in the past but my results are never good. not to mention i'm limited to FLStudio4, and it isn't even working properly anymore any tips or help would be appreciated.
  23. when i heard this the first time, i almost cried. not to mention, i experienced something new, 3 waves of "the chills" during 1 song. masterful work McVaffe, absolutely beautiful.
