  1. I'd do Rainbow Road. If this project does take its flight and if you want me to do it, come PM me. That'd be a nice guitar song.
  2. definitely Yeah well, I wanted to say hello first ;P I'll send you a small wip right away
  3. I thgouth about making alcool about 3 weeks ago. I'm a big beer lover, ma favourite is made here in my town at a local bar, it won an award and it's 10%. Mail me a beer I'll mail you one lol Nice kit tho, when i was looking for kits it was well over a few hundred $ Brendon, well the budlight is about the worst beer I've ever drunk
  4. Katatonia is a great great band, seriously.
  5. Here's my cover http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19040508/Destinated%20to%20Forums/Fred%20%5BCovers%5D%20Demon%20of%20the%20Fall%20%282011%29.mp3 Voices/Guitars/Prod by me. Demon of the Fucking Fall.
  6. I think that first of all, they want their tributes to be heard. Well technically the first works I've done for OCR were for an album which didn't have the exact same requirements as a standard OCR remix. When I'll do it precisely to submit for OCR is gonna be another story, and the Why is simply to share what I've done. Also, the challenge of getting a Yes, which means learning production things and keep doing it, get better and better... I think such a target is a great way to learn how to work when dealing with other people because normally, when you make music that's not OCR related, you have absolutely no guideline and limits... However, if you make a track for a game compagny, well I figure you need to craft something according to their own standards.
  7. Just to record midi ok, at the end of the day it's the same... but I'm saying for audio recording, Reason is now built for the task and is damn good at it. I find it very easy on the workflow, but that might be subjective..
  8. I need to add; learn how to play drums (at least a few basic beats).
  9. The crotchet tie is there because the vibrato in on the second half on the played note
  10. Well now I know why you didn't answer my PM about the FF6 project WillRock, it's because you're already involved in the "secret" one. Right?
  11. With such a huge title, the director must have choosen great remixers. I hope it'll be diverse and include many differant styles. But anyway, two FF6 projects meansmore tunes means more styles means more fun and so on
  12. Well that's cool. You would end up publishing both anyways ? This gives a great chance to diversity.
  13. The material is pretty cool. You will find a lot of people that can do the job here The game looks cool
  14. Yeah well it's sad that you announce it after that I've worked 3 days on the FF6 Catastrophe/Terra opening. ;( On the other hand I could have something to submit ..
  15. Ok this is actually a lot easier than the "generic" major thing, for me anyway. Say you have 21422 You play a note (I don't know if you play piano or guitar) You begin to count after the note you played. So to get to 2, you count 2 semitons after your first note. So if you play C, you don't play the following black key but play the next white key. There, you counted 2 you're at the note D. If you'd start from E on a guitar it'd be [that's a "tab" below]: E|-0-2-3-7-9-11 (as in 21422) Yes, you go with the usual Major mode in mind (whole whole half whole whole whole half) and use the sharps and flats to count if it's a whole step or a half. Whole step = 2 semitons Half = 1 semiton Here's the E major on a guitar to make things a bit more visual. Makes sense ? ;P
