This well and truly sucks. You can't just steal someones child ffs. I hope he is reunited with her soon. I'm sure loosing his studio kit was stressful, but his daughter is probably the most valuable thing in his life, poor guy.

I've got the go-ahead from andyjayne to steal his arrangement for that trainer battle song, as I quite liked it, and he's too busy with Uni if I recall. Expect that at some point, but in a Fishified state.

Just to let you know, I've informed POCKET via PM of my thoughts on the matter. Response pending... I'll wait for that before I do any major overhauls that I have planned (and I HAVE planned them). EDIT: I have also managed to aquire a sixto to do the title theme using my powers of persuasion. Hell yes.

Thats a link to the Reason section of the remixing forum which is where this question should have been asked. People are going to think you didn't have enough time to search for your own answer before getting stuck if you haven't taken the time to check that this is the right place for your question. I'm not saying thats the case here, just something to watch out for :/.

Its not something that can be done overnight, but you will have a very hard time convincing composers to write music for something that doesn't really exist at the moment. Personally, I make a note to ignore all requests for games unless they have at least a small playable demo, or some convincing screenshots, otherwise your just shooting in the dark. Wait until you have more to show and then come back.

I've got some VDrums, they're not too bad, but then again I don't play drums. I've heard good things about the mor expensive sets though.

I think the project co-ordinators usually make the official theads, and prophet is busy at magfest, it'll turn up eventually. Hope y'all liked the surprise release.

Heh, Simon was showing me this as it was in progress and didn't believe me it would be a safe pass. This is just a really fun energetic song to listen to. Arrangement is kickin, and the sounds come together really well. The snares not that out of place imo. First time I heard of scaredsim, he had turned up on OCR just to join the lovely SM64 project, and just wait until your hear that mix. Keep your eye on this one, hes got the good stuff.

ho snap. Seriously though this is groovy ass. djp picked up on my favourite thing about this mix, the little staccatos during the Jenova bit, so fun :3. All the little details which make something pretty good into something awesome are here. Way to take a mini-source and go off on a total tangent and get away with it somehow.

I really don't want to just say THIS IS MINE NOW, as its not my place to do so, but I would like to echo Fratto's concerns that pocket's not particularly taking charge and stuff is suffering as a result. I don't like drama, but its something that needs adressing. I understand Pocket is probably very busy with other stuff in his life, but that shouldn't be an excuse for not taking charge, as someone without enough time to do so shouldn't have done so to begin with, especially if its wasting other peoples time.

Can we get a fully encoded version of this? I get the feeling most of my qualms are a result of that. Also a guitar solo would be hit and miss for this. Might be worth trying though.
