  1. Must.... not... sign up.... to.... more.... stufff...... If no one else replies (which is unlikely) let me know.
  2. I've decided that Kain from FF4 is my new mascot as we share similar name and hes awesome, so sig time: Take a picture of Kain, do whatever you like to it, then put Fishy on it somewhere. If you can keep it on the blue side colour wise that would have win also. You guys rawk and deserve internets.
  3. It is completely untrue in terms of the loudness war. When you turn up the stereo, it isn't the same as compressing songs to make them as loud as possible in comparison to other tracks at the same master volume. What is DOES do is make you more likely to pick it out of a crowd as a result, as the the overall volume stands out. The sound quality in general suffers from being pumped louder then it normally could be without clipping via compression. There is louder in terms of turning your player up, which is good, and relative loudness in terms of compression, which is NOT good for dynamic music at all.
  4. My older rubbish computer can run the most massive reason projects ever with absolutely no strain on my CPU. Fl DIES if I try and play more then 3 wav files at once. You're the only person who's ever said that reason is a cpu hog, so theres something wrong there.
  5. Thats more or less what it was designed to be. People assume it was meant to be just like any other program. At the moment, Reason is the most stable and low resource application I know of, VSTi support would destroy that totally.
  6. True, all opinions are facts to be disproven on the internet.
  7. I didn't say it doesn't play the same, I said I'd much rather play it using a mouse and keyboard, and my laptop has both of these. FPS games are annoying on console controllers to me. I'm saying these are the types of game I usually end up on a console playing. Final fantasies and similar, platformers, EA sports games and racing games. The other list is the type of games I usually end up on a PC playing. Its my personal preferance. How is that funny?
  8. I simply can't stand FPS games on consoles for this reason. They will forever be fail without a mouse and keyboard, and yes I know most consoles can do this now but if my PC is good enough to run the same games (and usually can be bought for less $$) then they are kind of obsolete. This is my breakdown: PC plays: FPS RTS MMO Emulaturs Console plays: Adventure/RPG Sports Driving
  9. If you don't want to use compreesors I like to use the old cut and boost on whatever causing it. Cut frequencies until you find whats causing the clipping, then cut that chunk a bit and boost the whole thing by about the same. Use your ears to find the right ranges.
  10. http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=7611 Have patience.
  11. I love it when people say this, cause it would be the single worst thing they could do to the program.
  12. It would have been win with just this.
  13. There is an antigravity thread already and this was already brought up in a thread by zircon too, but I'mma let you off with a warning because Depth Charge is the best song ever and this is fact.
  14. This just makes me want to make on big super chugga chug VSTi and sell it for monuys.
  15. Feel free to post your arcade high scores, I'll put a leader board in the first post if we get some really good ones :3. EDIT: Speaking of which: Take that Gaz you bastard you.
  16. I think the point is that OCR has a file format consistency, and any radical change at this point would be unfavourable as the previous 1600+ remixes would have to change aswell. Currently every remix has to be under 6mb, so say Disco Dan heard that we now accept lossless remixes. He'd be pretty peeved that his Triforce majeure (the most popular remix according to ormgas still i believe) had to be encoded to 113kbs when he submitted and now everyone else can submit lossless. If he doesn't have the project files anymore, then thats tough shit? Although the lossless would be a better sound quality, the accessability to joe average aswell as the file sizes make FLAC/WAV unfavourable overall. Pretty much the only thing I see happening is someone hosting their own lossless archive and asking for contributions from the mixers, but I doubt anything official would be done.
  17. And if that wasn't sick enough, pistols and nades only: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHOu74htG3k&feature=related I suppose the reload time on the pistol helps, but hot damn. Not arcade mode though, I'm curious to see what ludicrous point score is possible. I think the basic idea is just to keep moving. From my experiance in the game, the faster you move forward, the less guys appear.
  18. Hah, has anyone managed to beat Mile High Club arcade on veteran. I swear its gd damn impossible with that time limit.
  19. *Mild Spoliees* Anyone else pick this up yet? This game was just as fun as portal imo, but longer and far more epic. From playing COD2 very recently, I loved the modern incarnation of Price and all his SAS buds. With the previous games I always felt very aware that my comrades were all blithering AIs, but these characters made me feel like I was actually part of a team of professionals, and as a result the ending (whilst probably the most awesome and pressuring 5 seconds you'll ever play) was actually saddening. Usually the brits in these games are all "what what, lets get the darn jerries then have some tea, the mangey buggers" but Gaz was a propa hard man. Also rofl that the american one dies for once. I'm still waiting for a zero punctuation review for this particular element to be raised. Also, my internets too crap but the multiplayer system looks amazing. Can't wait to have a sniper duel with someone. What do you guys think of it?
  20. Games: Call of Duty 4 UT3 Twilight Princess Other crap: Some smart shirts A rawk t-shirt Random clothes A book "Do ants have arseholes? - And other stupid questions" I didn't ask for much cause I WAS going to magfest, but I had to cancel.
  21. Your damn right it is. Gl with votes Nut.
  22. I'm working on something a bit weird atm, but didn't get a chance to make it presentable for the deadline. Hopefully you'll hear it soon.
  23. Hajime is really sweet pix. I love the percussive groove going on through it. This alblum is gonna be so good from what I've heard.
