Length is totally not a problem. I'm just mostly going to play it as is, so there will be some three second long tracks. It's all good.

My idea is to make a remix album of every fanfare or victory theme that exists for a console. For example there are 33 RPGs on the NES. 16 of them have victory themes and one of those has two victory themes so there a total of 17 NES RPG victory themes. I want to remix them in basically a rock style but have the main melodies sung by several people. I'm thinking that it will be like if the player actually did win the battle and they sang along as the victory theme played. That's the effect I was considering. I want to know if you think there is an audience who wants to hear something like this. Preferably a large one. Haha. Also if you think there are some alterations to my ideas that could make it better. For example, should I just do the popular fanfares instead of doing the all. Stuff like that. I'm still in the process of finding what the best kinds of videos are but I definitely want to play Chrono Trigger through to completion and upload some funny moments. I, PERSONALLY thought it was pretty fun to watch but that's just me.

Thanks, Argle. I don't need any particular structure and I don't need a chorus either. If you want me to choose a structure, I will. But you can have free reign with that and I will make rap verses to fit. Having some kind of climax would be good, I think. What theme would you like to do, Argle? XPRTNovice wants to know so he can do a different Xenogears villain theme. By the way, there are other possible themes available to us. For example, Emeralda's theme since she's mysterious and you have to fight her. And she really is a bad ass, too. Her mech doesn't even have arms! There is also the final boss battle with Deus. What would you like? And can you give me an estimation on when you'll finish the Christmas song?

AWESOME! the very latest for a WIP is the end of December but I think we can get something done earlier than that. Than we can make updates every two months if we're slow or we can just bang it out in a shorter period of time. By when is a realistic date for you to have a beat going?

I would like to do participate in the Bad Ass III but do not have the time to make an entire song myself. I've been wanting to get deeper into rapping and I don't think anyone else is doing hip hop on the album. I do not know that for a fact but either way, I would love to do some overly aggressive raps over some brutal orchestra Id (or Grahf) beats. Is anyone one interested in this? What exactly I would need from you: I ask you to make the beat. Simple as that. If you do not have amazing samples or mixing abilities I can help with orchestra samples and we can always find additional hands to help us with mixing. I would like to make it a very aggressive and dramatic rap so a dramatic or heavy beat will be a must. I don't care what the instrumentation is and what kind of ideas you want to incorporate. You can have whatever you want as long as I have drama/heaviness. The Bad Ass III album directors say that they want to emphasize epicness on this album, so orchestral sound may be the way to go. It's actual news but it is sprinkled generously with sarcastic humor. It seems that Microsoft has gotten a lot of industry people to publicly support the XBOX One and the writer thinks their statements are laughable in some way or another.

So just decide that I AM GOING TO BECOME A COMPOSER and forget about what all the battles along the way are. MYTH: You should have a day job to fall back on. No you should not but you should not just quit and be poor either. You should think of some kind of job that you are interested in doing that is related to music. If your fallback job is unrelated to music, it will only be infinitely harder to become a musician. If you can get a music job there will be musicians around you to talk with, more opportunities involving music, and more possible collaborators. Your job should be a stepping stone, not a fall back option.
