wow not bad, it has a very Metroid Prime feel to it , though the beat needs a little more variance IMO.

Hmm guess I don't really care to make my melodies have a focus, so long as they aren't off key and don't change in tempo/beat too often. I DO have quite a few compositions where my melodies are more focused and logical but I just don't normally compose that way. mnaybe i shoulda mentioned that this piece is more for ambience (as well as it's HoboKa styled, meaning the J's automatically hate it )

I know that wont do for OCR, so I suppose I can edit them a bit and yes this sound track does need more love. PPL need to lay off the CT and FF lol.

Yeah it's real tough to find that balance between midi rip and original - I'm working on that, as well as my direction. Though I don't think the J's will ever like my style, just because they seem to favor more mainstream/cliched kinda progressions/ideas.

it's because Rozo didn't like my snare sound. So thats prob why they sound kinda weak. I thought that a lighter sound would do it, but maybe i just need some completely different snare samples ><
