how should i create a lead rhythm/note riff? Should I make it a sort of counter melody? Sigh...I've got so much to learn still T_T

PLUS I stuck to the same drum kit mainly, have to work on the transition on the finale though... Maybe a schycho drum roll or something...hmm

Okay...so I've decided to totally mutilate my song and make it a lot more natural and less chaotic. I've saved the older ftp in case I fuck up; we'll see what I can concoct in a more(Sensei Tan)(2007) "sensical way" (page asshole). If you guys barf on it, I can always try a different angle then...or have a break from it a while to gain a fresh perspective...anyhow, stay tuned for my upcoming version of schala remix.

wow...praise from a remixer , allright I'll see what I can do. Are the drums too fast for the tempo? Arg, I don't really know how to make it more cohesive, I thought that the transitions weren't half bad /sigh. Do I have to completely rearrange certain parts?

Very nice song, getting closer and closer to OCR standards methinks. I like how it's rather simplistic and traditional; and it breathes life into the Mario RPG game once again ^^. Though I prefer that you made it more upbeat and turned it into a kick ass techno song, like the opera one from 5th Element ^^. But with that aside, it's a good song

you know, sometimes I just randomly mess around with the piano roll for an hour or two until I come up with a cool riff. Try varying it, slowly make it pick up into a down-tempo kind of drum n synth beat or something of the like. Maybe make it INTENSE orchestration, transition it to a chiptune I dunno, there's hundreds of things u could do, perhaps thousands

just experiment , you may never know.

I think I got ripped off for my headphones...$75 and the ambience and low ends are TOO loud on them so they hurt my ears. My moniters are Altec Lansing, no sub woof or surround sound...very primitive/cheap ones.

But I still wish to refer parts of my song as segments, for it is a medley and so I want it to have a semi random - yet sensual segments that add to the over all song and pay tribute to one of CT's best songs Enjoy
