  1. Aw, looks like I dropped the ball on doing it every day - been running on fumes .
  2. Yeah, FLAC + mp3 is the standard release format for OCR, unless a lossless file is not available.
  3. So I updated track status a little more a night or two ago.
  4. The tentative in the title means tentative name - we probably will change it, to what we don't know yet. Red is claimed, green is WIP.
  5. Just got it - we are $11 from our target mark! Thanks to everyone so much, I will personally be mailing out the CDs once they get printed!
  6. Well actually, I will probably be making a new thread in the fall and start a recruitment drive again, and possibly redefine the concept & dynamics - I have stuff in mind to make it exciting, no worries there.
  7. I remember he had an updated version on VGMix 2 before
  8. Lost Odyssey is so much better than Blue Dragon - that game blew ass.
  9. The man behind OUS and one of the Bad Dudes, Mustin has done quite a lot for the VGM rearrangement community. It's hard to forget songs like these, and he has been involved in such classics posted here such as Team Gato. Who can also forget his middleman role in bringing djp and virt together at MAGFest 5 in a mending of big minds? Give it up to Mustin!
  10. He got too busy before - he's now focused on Kirby Super Star though, so it's probably better that he pushes forward with that.
  11. I'd prefer someone who is around OCR fairly often.
  12. Maverick Rising is going killer smooth currently - already got a final wav, and another one supposedly done.
  13. More like on other projects period - I think I might've been too ambitious with deadlines originally. That will definitely change when I kickstart this in the fall close to when MR is out. I plan to have most stuff ready for MR in the summer sometime from the management end (excepting the tracks).
  14. Not technically selling the album - the album will be free to download. The CDs themselves are not for sale - any giveaway is a gift.
  15. So I've decided to freeze the project progress until this fall. However, I am looking for a capable project co-director/coordinator to join me when this happens. The person must be passionate about the music, and show a level head in many facets. Contact me if you're interested & qualified!
  16. YES I bought me a copy though - I'll probably get a chance to listen to it sometime after the Super Bowl.
  17. Oh don't worry, I didn't forget - I kept the PMs/paypal notifications and will be looking at them when we do get it printed!
  18. I'm told that the composer didn't know of Guns 'N Roses when she did Neon Tiger in X3 - would be quite a strange coincidence.
  19. Chocobo, chocobo, you're so fine... So, DragonAvenger started with this for her first posted song, and continues today still singing sweet songs for everyone!
  20. A minor update to the track status list - guys keeping me excited here!
  21. Discussion = fine. Just posting top x stuff is not cool for the site. Remember, favorites threads are not allowed. And more songs! This is another guy who some here may not know much about: http://ocremix.org/artist/4639/carbohydrom/remixes He has lots of good stuff, and might be best known for this gem from DoD: http://dod.vgmix.com/past/sepoct05/CHM-LTTP-DoD-Unsealed.mp3 People should check out his site for some more goodies: http://www.carbohydrom.net/music.html Someone of great influence and former judges, zircon shows potential here in his Disco Dan emulation for his first posted OCR song. Since then he has evolved as an artist and done lots of great stuff, including this, this, this, and plenty of others
  22. So I'll link/talk about some semi-random songs, at least once a day leading up to the fabled #2000. First up is zyko's Legend of Lightning Larry. This game had some surprisingly good music - it also combined a ton of elements, side-scrolling shooter, adventure/RPG...this game had it all, and on the NES! This song came out a bit after the midway point of the site's life, so take a listen! A little before then was this introduction to the madness that is Shnabubula This was his second song on OCR (his first was also a Guardian Legend song, http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR01218/ ) - little did we know he would come up with a whole bunch of crazy stuff afterwards, like this DoD winning submission.
