  1. Please no vote stuff - that's akin to a favorites contest . Could reminisce about songs though
  2. I honestly did not know that before it was mentioned here - I knew about the X5 Maverick connection to Guns 'N Roses, but I didn't know a reference appeared beforehand. In other news, I have given the green light to the first final wav of the project - that honor goes to The Dual Dragons for an excellent job! The duo definitely impresses me for how fast they work & the quality of said work.
  3. This looks like almost the definition of midirip action with a beat layered on top.
  4. Man, I like it! This has a relaxing atmosphere you can sit back to, even with the synth there & the slightly upbeat pacing.
  5. I remember hearing this from the May 2009 DoD - pretty good job here, which of course shows at the 4th place finish for a free month. This is pretty frentic stuff, although it feels a bit on the short side.
  6. Why is it "Danger!" is inspiring chippy stuff? Not that I have complaints of course, this is a pretty nice song. This is a different variant on the track though stylistically, and of course combines another source as well. My only gripe is that this sounds a bit on the thin side at times, but pretty nifty otherwise.
  7. One day passes are still available, but they're more expensive
  8. I guess that's true - we'd take it for the project though if someone was to do it regardless, just was mentioning that if someone wanted to get posted with the song was all. Edit: For others out there, here's a comparison: Neon Tiger - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMk78h69OLk My Michelle -
  9. It was to get initial attention - but I think we have a bigger sized project than I was expecting after the past month, so moved!
  10. You know, not knowing Guns 'N Roses much, I took a listen to the track: This surprises me - I think if someone does Neon Tiger, they should be careful about being too close to this song though if they want their song to be OCR quality.
  11. Amazon is pretty good - I generally buy music from there, although I do buy on occasion from B&M stores like Best Buy, FYE, or the Virgin Megastore (when I'm in NYC). But if you're looking for VGM, beware, those tend to be fairly expensive in general. I'll sometimes prowl on sites like http://www.cdjapan.co.jp , http://play-asia.com , http://gamemusic.com , or http://www.vgmworld.com (only found this recently).
  12. Stuff mailed out - several more items left to claim people, send me your address if you haven't already done so!
  13. We're actually pretty close to our target amount - thanks!
  14. Updated the track status to be a bit more accurate.
  15. You have to be known as an OCR regular musically & presence - it's something that's just identifiable with the people, like McVaffe. It's essentially invite only.
  16. I like how this got slipped in there . I'm asking people though, so you guys on board better get those WIPs done, or you may find someone quickly taking your place after the WIP deadline!
  17. k-wix - try contacting Harjawaldar for acoustic, he has a great tone (Shizzie)
  18. The two tracks are listed in the first post, Opening Theme and Ending Demo
  19. Jeez, I said I'm dropping it and people continue. Most of you miss the point, but as I said, I talked with SnappleMan earlier and sorted exactly what I'm saying, and I felt like I did my part already after talking with him. Things are fine as is now, but it was a strong initial problem caused by the way this was started before things were refined.
  20. Best you can do is work hard and to strive to be as good or better as you can!
  21. Ok, let me clarify it a bit then - track overlap isn't the problem necessarily, but the fact that some of these people could've been helping them. So you have the situation now that people and funneled into a choice with the villians for Bad Dudes, and for the other project it's like "sorry, not helping, make do or die," which is one of the situations we want to control from happening for existing projects. I'm not saying though that it's one project or the other in terms of running with approval and such - I'm trying to appeal to a more practical solution somehow. How that goes is up to the others hopefully. Edit: I talked with SnappleMan some just now - I'll drop it, I've said enough of my piece, and I think I've done enough.
  22. Lots of stuff has been going on with staff - we have lots of important things being dealt with currently, and that's not to mention a lot of us are pretty busy normally. And Anso, if you don't see the issue, then I have nothing more to say, you've missed it and I don't think I can get you to see it when the scopes in the first post define one as a subset of the other.
