I agree with Archangel - the song winds down too quickly I feel. I'm not sure whether it is YouTube distorting the volume levels or anything like that, but it also sounds like the horns are too loud in the latter half of the song - they drown out the rest of the instrumentation. Otherwise it seems like a nice song.

Looks like I might've been too optimistic - but just so everyone knows djp has been working real hard on his song. I know he has poured a ton of time into it, so let's relax here. Its been on high priority with him for a while.

Yeah, Super Puzzle Fighter looks mighty tempting to me.

We had a date set a few weeks ago and have been moving to get things done. It looks like we're in good shape to release then, just need djp to finish his tracks (which he HAS been working a lot on for the past few weeks, even deferred addressing some site stuff to work on them) and need to check up on the website status which OA should have about ready.

I'm not a fan of the intro - the song really takes too long to get into something that would really draw me, and then it falls short after the organ build up when it gets to the Calbrena stuff .

This could've used the low end brought out a little more I think - production could use some improvement with the volume levels in general I felt. I wish the song was longer as well, but this isn't a bad effort at all.

What DA said about the drums - they're waaaay too loud with respect to the rest of the song, and the midrange is kind of missing here. Bleh, bleh Count Dracula says!

I like this - it has a nice calming atmosphere to it, and of course the beats brought on by the drums.

This is pretty repetitive - the synths could use more variation in the melody. Song is also too short...meh.

This is a strange song - it has this darkish atmosphere to it, but still has a feeling of moving along. Nice job with the setting here! Samples sound a bit iffy I think, and could be the only thing really holding me back from liking this fully.

I'm personally a fan of Kate Bush - numerous popular artists have covered or emulated her songs, or state her as an influence.

This has a nice atmospheric feel to it, despite its repetitiveness. It does sound outdated, but there's good ideas here.

To be honest, this isn't as gritty as I was expecting from the mix writeup heh. It seems to be mixed on the more quiet side from what I can tell, which is unfortunate . As everyone else has said though, this is pretty damn creative for a Schala mix. It makes me wonder why don't more people try to take artistic liberties, instead of attempting the same hashed out versions in the same hashed out styles. Can't wait to hear more, you've improved quite a bit from when I heard Fire Cross ~5 years back!
