  1. Happy birthday dude! PS: I still want to buy your keyboard
  2. I'm curious, there's 2 mixes in the "to be posted" queue that I don't recognize... who did "Rare Respite" and "How KRool Went Insane"?
  3. Here's a mix from last months' DoD competition that covers this game. It got last place, but it's still a pretty good mix IMO
  4. I love how this is the only track currently tagged with "Sexy" I love this song and I'm keeping it on my iPod just because the benefit of listening to it outweighs the risk. Still, it's not meant for polite company, that's for sure Love it, guys
  5. This is my favorite song on the album, the interwoven pianos really hit the spot
  6. Dude, your new single "Bamboo Bungalow" is excellent! You've got a wonderful voice :-)

  7. Awesome, but this update completely kicked Humans + Gears off of the front page. Even Echoes of Betrayal is on that rotating news widget, but Xenogears isn't. It'd be cool to get it back on the spotlight in some form to get it the exposure it deserves This was a great surprise though, thanks for making my otherwise-dull Halloween night a bit more interesting!
  8. This is a great surprise! Wow, I'm pretty stoked, Joshua Morse is one of my faves and I can always count on him for some good tunes. Downloading now, feedback imminent!
  9. Say I want to add on a word to the end of the Song Name ID3 field for all songs from a certain artist. I found a script that would help me do this, but it's only for Mac - does anyone know any good Windows scripts that can mass-alter ID3 tag fields? I'd prefer one that works directly with iTunes, but I'd live if it interacted through a different interface. Tanks! :3
  10. http://tindeck.com/listen/hzcm I think uploading this technically broke their Terms of Service (so I can remove it if anyone wants me too) but I hosted a mirror of the preview track on Tindeck since that's a lot easier and faster than Megaupload.
  11. It's still Audix, he just had copyright issues with his name (I believe it was Audix Microphones or something) and had to change all references to his name to Sole Signal.
  12. Well, I called Dave Wise and Robin Beanland being part of the secret after matching the number of ???'s in their names, but Grant Kirkhope is a great surprise! Two of my favorite composers collaborating on one of my favorite songs? I can't wait! You guys really went above and beyond on this - I don't know how you managed to get them to contribute to this project but I'm glad you did!!
  13. Because it's not an actual song, it's just a minute of ambient water effects But here, luckily for you someone already took the liberty of remixing it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5dRLPieKoE
  14. Haha, I totally get that too Just making sure I could have some support on that front before I even get started, because there's really no point in trying to simulate an acoustic guitar performance since I know I'd never be able to meet the quality mark without a live performer at least for that. It's appreciated, though That's the last I'll say on this until I have a WIP so I don't keep spamming up your thread Thanks for your timely responses!
  15. That's what I figured, and I completely understand the quality control aspect. I would say the same thing if I were in your shoes Would you be willing to help me out with feedback or maybe even a guitar part if I am able to get a WIP going on that meets your standards, though?
  16. Well, what kind of style are you looking at for the Slider/Snow Mountain remixes? Also, would you accept a WIP of the song itself as an audition? Because right now, I'm just getting my feet wet with remixing and, while I think I have a lot of worthwhile ideas in my head, my portfolio is nonexistent and I would probably end up collaborating with someone more experienced to help me get these ideas into fruition (provided that someone is willing - I know you said that you were willing to offer acoustic guitar services, right?) I'm sure this isn't instilling much confidence in you, but I really feel inspired with this and if I could get some help and advice, I think I could work it to a point where it's presentable despite by limited mixing ability. I guess I'm just spewing random thoughts more than anything right now, but like I said I feel like I've got the inspiration and I really want to help out with this project in any way possible
  17. Well, I got a sudden burst of inspiration tonight for a mix that, as I envision it, is a mix of Opening Theme, Slider, and Snow Mountain (all three of those themes are kinda similar.) I just improved for about half an hour and the theme clicked pretty well with me. What I've got in my head is a very mellow piano/acoustic guitar duet a la "Dark World Ballad," only less depressing So, to the project directors, would you allow me to do a remix for "Opening" (since that's the only one that's currently available) that also includes elements from the other two aforementioned sources, since they're all based around the same general melody?
  18. http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=25690 Yup, as I suspected, it was Water World, but it got rejected. If you REALLY want to hear it, try bugging one of those artists and seeing if they'll share with you
  19. You guys really should try and release this on Christmas morning. I'm not even kidding, that would be better than any present money could buy. It would make my life if I had this to open up when I first woke up
  20. The secret is, djpretzel and virt are actually contributing to the same project! ... oh, wait.

  22. God, why does all the cool stuff take place on the other side of the country? At least I got The OneUps in my area for a night, though.
