I second the true recommendation in that quote. I love these games. And you can always get Network Transmission, which along with a stellar soundtrack combines the battlechip gameplay of the main BN games with the sidescrolling of the classic games, and throws in tons of references to the classic series as well.

You know, I like the idea of this project and all... but the name is too similar to the one I have planned for my eventual Boktai series album, Solar Serenade. But yeah, best of luck on this and all.

there's also pushmo and mutant mudds on the eshop. those are pretty fun.

Since this is one of the Lightning Cup tracks on MK7, I've been hearing this song a lot. So it's fresh in my mind. Very nice mix of it; great usage of the source, the buildups are well done, and it's great. So great that I'm not worried about you working on this instead of that accursed Subrosia track.

Server Consolidation Incoming Don't worry, as you can choose which server to move to so that everyone is all on the same one before they're consolidated, but it's still big. The total of 18 servers is being reduced to 10 for the update to 2.0. Deadline for server selection is March 19th!!

Agreed. The City in the Sky was pretty great. Also, it culminated in what is still my favorite boss fight in the series. Argorok, Twilit Dragon. I mean, you climb the walls FOUR STORIES or so, and then grab onto some flying nuts. After that, you grab onto the dragon after dodging its fire breath and attack the spot on its back a few times. And then you ride him down those four stories or so and when he lands, what does Link do? A hella stylish backflip off of Argorok. TP Link gives exactly zero fucks about dragons.

Really? I remember the sidebar, and you've been here far longer than I have. And it was a bit... odd. I dunno... Something aobut it always struck me as off.

I agree with you on all parts. But TP's ending did make me tear up a bit. Oh, and I think the Double Clawshots were the most awesome item in TP, and I used them whenever possible. Same with Bomb Arrows (nice throwback to the LA trick).
