This is a really good point. FFXIII may be big, but I'm pretty GH Halo and COD have just about the same amount of raving fans, just they haven't been big for as long. Everyone who's psyched about FFXIII is that way because they always have been for FF games.

Well, I'm not surprised that FFXIII is going multi-platform. In fact, It will make it easier for me to choose which console to buy (officially X-360). Anyway, i just wanna throw my opinion in on why I didn't like X-2. Yes, the combat was fresh, and it was all-in-all a pretty game, but... The plot completely ruined FFX for me... remember FFX's plot? How many good things happened in that story? The plot was amazing in that so many bad things happened. It could genuinely depress you. Even the ending was more bitter than sweet! And then FFX-2 walks in... the opening is a pop concert, three charlie's angels wannabe hop around looking for... spheres... And the ending completely turned around everything that was good about FFX. Also, the game just seemed to be such a step down from X. In FFX, your enemy was a killer monster the size of Texas, and in X-2, your ultimate enemy is... some lovesick guy with a giant gun... I dunno, I'm not saying X-2 was a bad game, just saying i didn't like it much myself.

Ok, this may be oddly placed, but... Anyone else here use WACOM? If so, do you know how to fix a problem where the tablet just stops working with the PC and the driver says to reinstall the software? I reinstalled and everything but no dice >.< I'm using an Intuos 2 Serial tablet (old school eh?) I really wanna do something this month too but can't until my WACOM is working... Any help would be awesome.

Ok, so I was playin FFX last night, and I got to the whole Tidus/Yuna makeout-in-the-river part, and MAN the lady who sang the Yuna's Theme arrangement there is horrible. She randomly flats out on the simplest notes! Maybe that's how they do it Japan, I dunno, but it sure hurt my ears...

I think graphically, Diablo 3 has more in common with SC2 than with WoW. They're probably using the same 3D engine as well. Also, I bet D3 and SC2 will put a nifty workload on your system. You see the animations on all those lil guys? At that framerate and level of detail, I know I'm gonna have to up my vid card! Thats ok tho cuz my old card just burned out (lucky me!)

I think the thing I'm most worried about from the gameplay vid isn't the classes, colors, locales, or blah-blah-blah... Did anyone else notice that the boss FRICKIN PICKED UP THE BARB AND ATE IT?? I swear if they give bosses instant-kill scripts I will be MAD...

My question is: how are they gonna rework the classes so that they are dual-gender?? I mean, Male Amazon? You lose a lot of specifics when gender is tossed out... Sorceress will probly become Mage and Amazon will be Ranger or something... I'm afraid that D3 is just gonna be an M-rated free-play WoW alternative... MAN I wish I still had my CDs for D2, the news makes me wanna play it SO BAD... I miss my 91 Smitage Pally!

Sadly, the art contest world shall always be plagued by what I call "The Balloon Theory". If you have a blue balloon, however fantastical and crazy-go-nuts awesome it is, and the people/judges want a green balloon, well... blue balloon: owned. It's a big problem because most art competitions are judge/voted on by mostly non-artists . I regularly contribute to art competitions and am currently (quite hurriedly) trying to get something done before Sunday when I'll be away from my supplies till the 27th. Looking forward to all the amazing entries!

See you at BJ this fall Josh (hopefully)! I play enough piano to enjoy myself (which means i'm really not that good at it), Play classic and acoustic guitars (4 years, hoping to get a nice electric eventually), and sing (life, but no lessons ever...). I actually have 0% natural musical talent, so anything i've got was gotten through sheer force of will lol. I'm more of an artist.

I saw Indy 4 a few weeks back, expecting to be completely unimpressed. It was waaaay better than I thought it would be, that's for sure, but a couple things REALLY annoyed me... 1. The very presence of Shia Labouf (sic probly). Am I the only guy who still thinks Even Steven's whenever I see his face? 2. ...Space aliens... Okay, this one may not be to far off from Indy's element, but still. 3. As stated before, Indy seemed to be a mostly disinterested party. It wouldn't even have mattered to him if Mutt and the KGB didn't drag him into it... 4. I just don't like Shia... complete idiot in Transformers, Tarzan boy in Indy 4... What will he ruin next!?
