  1. My amusement by that is one of the reasons I pledged the $50.
  2. $50 pledged. These will be the second and third physical albums that I'll own for OCR projects after FFIV.
  3. It's related to how many posts they've made. I recommend checking out this post to get familiar with the forums. Have fun.
  4. You can always request it be remixed in the ReMix Requests sub-forum...
  5. I'm up at around 11:00 PST, getting ready for work at 11:45 PST, back home around 22:45 PST, and in bed by about 02:00 PST. I'm more available on weekends, but it depends on what I'm doing with my IRL friends or if I'm running errands. I don't know Itch's schedule.
  6. It looks like it's just a matter of lining up when we're online. There's plenty of times when we're in the IRC room, but not logged into the game. It's #ocrminecraft on irc.esper.net. Either that, or we can set up an appointment somehow.
  7. I haven't worried much about this up until now, when it blocked me from loading up the newest mixpost... Here's some screenshots: http://www.abadoss.net/photos/OCR-Error1.jpg http://www.abadoss.net/photos/OCR-Error2.jpg http://www.abadoss.net/photos/OCR-Error3.jpg {WinXP, IE8} If you'll notice, there's a white box that is covering a part of the page. I think it's related to the YouTube embedding. If you look on the second and third screenshot, the position of the box changes depending on whether I have the YouTube previous expanded. Plus, the box didn't appear on the front page until after the YouTube clip was no longer there. Is this a quick fix?
  8. I'll group reg. Even though I'm not 100% about my attendance yet, I don't mind helping out.
  9. Kinda. More like this (once it gets past the intro... which is a couple minutes long... go to 3:50 if you're impatient). The lead singer/keyboardist, Joanne Hogg, for that band is the same lady that sang Small of Two Pieces for Xenogears. She's not singing this particular song, though. At least not with any lyrics.
  10. That could go Celtic so easily... If you pulled off a section like Riverdance with metal, that'd be pretty damn awesome.
  11. Okay. Barring any horrible problems that might crop up, we are officially on 1.3. Let Itch or I know if something bad happens, but otherwise have fun! Yay!
  12. Using just the MultiVerse-core has been fine. Things get tricky when you mess around the MultiVerse-portals or MultiVerse-nether, or whatever it is. Still haven't fixed how all the portals link up. Otherwise, it does okay. There is a threshhold for how many maps you can add before it really drags the system down. For our server, the threshhold is about seven or eight maps, including nether and The End. I can understand why he'd say that, though.
  13. Okay. So here's what we're looking at. Bukkit put out a 1.3 RB. That's fantastic news. However, we now wait for the important plugins to get their act together. Here's the list of plugins we're waiting for: --Will not go without, critical-- WorldGuard (possibly okay, not sure) WorldEdit (required for WorldGuard, possibly working, not sure) PEX (possibly okay, possibly not, conflicting reports) Essentials (not sure) --Really want, but not highly critical-- MultiVerse (no idea, no status that I could find) VoxelSniper (not sure) CraftIRC (possibly okay, might be buggy, not sure) --Want, but definitely not critical-- BioMan (probably would survive a nuclear holocaust, not sure) EnderCrystalizer (not sure) I'll edit this as I learn more... In the meantime, remember not to update to 1.3. See my earlier post for how to downgrade, if needed, or where to get programs that can run seperate MC builds at will. Edit - All's mostly well. Ignore this post.
  14. Okay. You should be good to go. Type /rules as soon as you join and talk to Itch or I about setting up a claimed area before building stuff. If you let us know what type of terrain (mountains, flatish area, river, beach, etc.), biome (forest, plains, desert, swamp, jungle, snow, etc.), and vegetation (dense trees, empty, grassy, etc.) you want, we can track down a nice area for you to start off in. You can also look at the server map (http://minecraft.angryitch.com) to see if any areas pique your interest. Check with us to make sure it's not already claimed, though. Anyway, have fun!
  15. No idea. It's been down for a while now. The OCR server's up. What's your MC name?
  16. Brandon was the inital creator of the project. That's why it's a low blow.
  17. Oh. There's also this: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1000645-multimc-31-windows-linux-mac/
  18. Just a heads up. With 1.3 scheduled to come out tomorrow and Bukkit being a little slower to update, I made sure to prepare a copy of the 1.2.5 bin folder so that people can still access the server until Bukkit is finished. Also, there is still the Profile Manager application that will allow you to switch between the various versions, if you want to do that instead. Here's the link to both: 1.2.5 bin folder http://www.abadoss.net/MineCraft/MineCraft_1.2.5_-_bin_folder.zip Profile Manager http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/540449-minecraft-profile-manager/
  19. I think OCAD's IP changed or is just completely down. Anyone know? I was thinking of stopping by for a visit.
  20. You should subtitle it "The Answer"... (*shot for obvious Hitchhiker's Guide reference*)
