I was disappointed in his entry, more disappointed in the general audience last year for complaining about his stylistic consistency, because he's not making his awesome high energy rocking stuff anymore (to "please the masses"). Round 2 was okay but even that pales in comparison stuff like Time Stopper (Flash Man vs. Cut Man).

I didn't know that stuff was part of regularly tuning the guitar. I thought it was just something you do when you restring or buy a new one, do the intonation and action also get messed up over time?

The strings should be tuned (started from the thickest to thinnest string) to E A D G B E. Basically play those notes on the piano and turn the knobs at the top until they match. Better, use an online guitar tuner (they're everywhere).

That is weird. If the plug ins you use are only FL Default, can you try sending me a project? If another comp can't open it then it's definitely the project file.

Is it freezing or are you clicking on it while it's loading and windows says not responding? Try waiting a little more, it does that for some of my projects.

That only works when you are Zircon and are incapable of losing. So my remix was started at 4 yesterday and with around 2 hours for dinner and random web surfing/talking with people/watching DBZ*cough* spread out I finished it at around 11. Kinda short, but it's a fast tempo song. The beat count is still high. xD

Hehe, looks like I might be submitting a finished piece after all. I'm not as disappointed with this entry but it could be better. Judging by Pixelwave's past mixes this round would be as close as my last, only I might lose this time. Or not, we'll see how it plays out. I kinda like this remix, I need to expand it in the future. Looks like Crush by Pendulum is the inspiration for this remix. Time to pick up my guitar (last time I used it in a mix was like 7-8 months ago)

You need to bring out the main melody more (make it louder). Otherwise it's a great remix. Could use some polish though. The piano could be more clear (like the main melody lead instrument) instead of drowned in the background. The SFX are kinda cheesy, either don't use them or try adding effects like delay and reverb to make them more interesting. DarkeSword's "Beamsabre Beat Zerov2" OCRemix comes to mind. The drums sound kinda cheesy and old default-like electronic drum samples (reminds me of the FL Studio defaults, but yours are way better), maybe look into slicing some nice DnB drum loops to make your own beats out of? Just to be clear I realize you marked this as finished but my suggestions are for if you decide to come back to it.

Well I'll stop posting then because I can't stop doing what I don't do (that's just impossible ).

All you're doing is recording the result of sending MIDI into your synth with your automation and effects. Yeah, you're bouncing your synth's playback. You misunderstand; your synth is not a soundcard. It's a synth. AU's are not impacted in any way by your synth, because your synth doesn't process things in your computer. Your computer does, and AU's are processed by your computer.
