  1. My algorithm: Step 1: Realize approaching music systematically will never get you anywhere. Step 2: Blow brain open to let creativity flow. Step 3: Make cool stuff.
  2. I wonder how much the keyboard is. I might just get it without getting Rock Band 3 if it's cheap and use it to learn how to play piano on synthesia. (but i guess that would be hard, it's only 25 keys. xD)
  3. I actually don't know, but I'd assume you have to keep waiting. The only other option is to just go ahead and do it, and that's not gonna work since the publisher can probably turn around and attack you for it.
  4. Then you assume full consent to blow up his home and smash his head through a window.
  5. Thanks! Great stuff man! Can't wait to hear your project WiP for me.
  6. Electric guitar is very hard to sequence. You need great samples with a lot of different articulation settings. Or you can just get a live player.
  7. Slayer's existence is injustice to electric guitars in general.
  8. Pass. Milk is disgusting. And I'm not going to MAGfest, so it won't work anyway.
  9. What SEGA needs now is what they needed to make the originals fun. Genesis didn't have super HD graphics, so they had to make up for it in great level design and great music (and great physics). If they went back to that state of less graphics and more game, it would be golden.
  10. The point (i think) Gollgagh is trying to make is that if points are being discounted because they're by bitchy Sonic fans then points can also be discounted by non sonic fans because they don't know what they're talking about or something along those lines. I could just be completely wrong tho
  11. You should've used the Grand Robot Master Remix Battle entries.
  12. It's still more powerful than what I have (AMD Athlon X2 2.1 Ghz laptop) so he has a lot to work with. (and I knew that laptops would be slower with mobile processors, but I still think an i5 is pretty decent as far as laptops go. At least, if the difference between i3's is as great on laptops as Intel says it is). Also, FL 4.1 may have been usable but for running the current demo songs in FL Studio, like zircon's "Just Hold On" he might need a little more power. I couldn't run it on a 1.6 Ghz Celeron M 1.5 GB RAM.
  13. I don't think that would be the best way to start the competition, it might end up like last year where he waited for submissions from everyone before beginning voting.
  14. you too. (not like it makes a difference, you're still doomed)

  15. You know I'd like for them to take the Sonic 3 engine and just make new levels and new music and a new plot. (not like a cinematic plot, but a plot like sonic 3 had. chase eggman, get all chaos emeralds, get master emerald back, etc.) If they manage to screw THAT up they really are incompetent.
  16. Why can't we all just agree that Sega failed to do what they were hyping us up for?
  17. It's not so much they're mad about Sonic 4 sucking as it is about Sega lying. They said it had a classic feel, and it most obviously doesn't.
  18. That alone is not even powerful enough to run FL Studio without any VST's. FL Studio is a real power hog application since the more recent versions. Not sure about when it was a drum machine, though.
