  1. what are you talking about? this site has nothing to do with music. *swish* >.> *swish* <.<
  2. Only half true, only some of the audio information i learned from Shariq. A lot of audio stuff I learned from people like zircon and just browsing these forums and general. And don't blame video games because I play video games ALL THE TIME ever since i was like 5.
  3. ASIO4ALL only works when there is only one application running that has sound output. (so yes, even if you're running a youtube video in firefox or something, that needs to be closed) ASIO4ALL is terrible because of that, so close down all other applications and start FL Studio AFTERWARDS. Lower the buffer as much as you want. Lower buffer -> less latency -> faster computer response from your keyboard but very slow response from intense audio processing in the playlist like lots of synthesizers, samples and effects. So on the flip side, you might want to jack up the buffer if you're not recording, because it'll help process the audio faster and not make your computer stutter because of extreme CPU usage. ASIO4ALL is generally good when you want better response and better processing, but it only works when your DAW (FL Studio in this case) is the only application running that has sound output.
  4. Last competition it was you PM your mix to him with title as "ReMix Name (Your Robot Master vs. Other Robot Master)" I'm assuming it's the same, this year but with Maverick names.
  5. Make sure there's nothing written after the 2:30 mark. Also, make sure there is no loop marker (the play button image that sits under the measure count) and make sure your track pattern isn't extended that far out. Basically, just look in your playlist/piano roll to see if there's anything there at the 2:50.
  6. 1. You write more stuff? What do you mean by "track length"? If you're talking about how fast it's going, the tempo meter is up top next to the record button labeled "BPM". If you mean the track isn't long enough, just add more stuff to it? I'm not sure what you're asking. 2. If you're using the "primary sound driver", the music will end up being quieter in the mp3 export. Switch the drivers to ASIO drivers in the Options > Audio Settings window.
  7. Sonic Colors was great, I played the demo at NY Comic Con. You know how the Sonic Unleashed day time levels were actually cool? Just imagine that, but with no werehog levels to hold it back. That's Sonic Colors. Pretty cool, it was fun, not sure what others think.
  8. Nope. ASIO4ALL doesn't, but other ASIO drivers do. (like sound card or audio interface ones)
  9. Considering mp3 is compressed audio, I don't think there's any such software that can extract MIDI data (which is instructions or "computer sheet music", not audio) from it. I don't think it'll be possible for quite some time.
  10. Whenever you dream about lame mistakes, you know how to avoid them.
  11. I was gonna say this but I was afraid to get flamed by PPR for not doing proper research.
  12. I apologize for not posting it sooner. I noticed it this morning and posted it here right away, if that's worth anything.
  13. http://demandprogress.org/blacklist/?source=fb Probably should be in PPR but whatevs. Sign your name if you don't want internet censorship by the government.
  14. Yeah because i'm TOTALLY a little floaty ghost that flies around creepin up behind people... ... o wait...
  15. The real deal is in buying the parts separately, and i say that because I'm assuming you're talking about those PC's that are being sold by CyberPower and the like.
  16. Usually websites that build custom PC's for you overcharge a bit. I checked about pudget's $3400 computer, and you can definitely get similar parts for very little more than half of that price. I recommend talking to prophetik about getting a custom PC, he won't give you "OMG THIS IS BS" prices. if you want drum and bass get FL Studio
  17. Why did you HAVE to do a system update? If it was that you couldn't play any games, you could've loaded them through GeckOS.
  18. Soundcloud is very tedious. I usually just upload my files to Mediafire or another file sharing site and distribute WiP's that way.
  19. If people need Ice Cap Zone to be linked that's just not right.
