Since there's no vote thread I'd like to post my review here: I like it, it's a great track production and composition wise. But as for the compo, I don't really think it meets the criteria for a vote (unless Zircon submitted something that wasn't as good, but he didn't sub anything so let's not mention him). I say that because I think it's largely a Tornado Man remix with bits Flash Man around the second half. I'd almost say it's a Tornado Man cover for most of it, but there are the nice Willrock solo's so I'm just gonna say he was pretty conservative with this one. After speaking to Willrock about it, he told me he was sick of Flash Man, and I don't blame him... what, after remixing it 6 times... *smh*.

I kinda shake my fist at EastWest for that, it's meant to give people a taste of the real deal to make you buy it but they only offered a taste for a limited time, I cannot think of any idea why they would close it off.

Nah, I'm sorry, I guess I forgot to mention I had backed up the download. Ya see it was a temporary promotion, and at the time I really didn't feel like spending 500-1000 on the real deal anytime soon unless I had money (Meaning in like... 8 years time) so I figured it would be a good idea to store it. Anyways, I thought USB was faster than internet download speeds. On the internet I generally get around 1.5 MB/sec, and that's usually if I'm downloading Steam games without doing anything else.

After receiving a new computer, I've recently been reinstalling all of my VST's and such. The problem is, when I'm trying to install EWQLSO Free Edition on this machine, I get an: Error 1335: Something something the cabinet file cabs.m12 required for installation is corrupt I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and (if I'm lucky) a solution. I don't recall having this problem when I installed it on my other machine, but if I did, I don't remember how to get past it. I tried hitting "ignore" but it just rolled back the entire installation and exited. I tried on google also, but I can't find anyone who's had this problem T_T

What else are you supposed to do if all you're focusing on is the cart? A single spy even if he doesn't kill you can end up distracting the enough of the team to prevent this spamfest which is the "smart" thing to do according to you. Doesn't really seem so smart because it would never work.

If the enemy team just drives a cart right into a spot where defenders are able to spam that's equally as "really really stupid". You can't just spam and win unless the enemy team is so "really really stupid" that they forget to kill you before driving the cart right next to you. When I play payload maps, I usually run ahead and kill off (or attempt to) whatever defenses are set up. EDIT: A spy is a good way to do this, just take down the "spamfest" defense from behind if all they're focusing on is the one cart.

Doesn't look like there's any thread for this, so my first question is that I wonder if there's any sort of OCR guild started in this game. Secondly: other people's opinions about the game, because I've read some reviews where some people liked it and then some people loathed it.

Just so you know, my true revenge is destroying you all in the MMX competition. A lot of you have no idea what new things I've learned (and what my computer can handle now). Even Shariq will be surprised.

I don't really think it's that annoying, I mean it's not like it unbalances the game radically... the engineer's main strength was buildings to begin with, but that's kinda hard to do on the offensive. Every other class has some sort of offensive tactic, why not the Engie too? It's perfectly easy to get a building blow up on the offensive, and now he can take the fight to the enemy rather than running back to get more metal.

Actually, no one has ever said Willrock had to stop working, and a lot of us had made and subbed revisions when Shariq was not able to/didn't feel like closing some rounds.

Not even Shariq has met some of the deadlines for this compo, if I'm allowed to point that out. Well sure they're not mixing deadlines, but there were still periods of time where we forgot if the competition was still even on because he never posted mixes/counted votes. Plus the reason we're mostly waiting is because this is the last round, revenge champ vs. champ, and it needs both people regardless of WHEN it happens in relation to when it was supposed to happen.

OBJECTION! I talked to Zircon recently. He told me that he's busy with something a little more important than GRMRB right now, but he is indeed planning to submit a remix. Have patience, my friends, for Zircon will descend upon us all with phat beats and sliced wavs if we wait long enough.
