  1. That doesn't really make sense. Explain?
  2. Good graphic engines have absolutely zero correlation with screen resolution. That is, you can't be at a point where your shadows can't look any more real without getting a bigger TV. That doesn't make any sense.
  3. That would be a freakin TERRIBLE idea. Please, keep that trash off of the console.
  4. This is just about the worst compelling argument I've seen in favor of Mac. PC's have processing horsepower Macs can't even touch without going over a $3000 pricepoint (with the PC counterpart staying happily around $1200) Yeah, yeah, then you took an arrow in the knee, right?Don't leave out context. When did you have it, what brand, etc.? Any decent custom-built rig today will blow a Mac out of the water in terms of price vs. performance.
  5. @Sikiduck You can kind of disregard all of that except the last sentence. Here's a very detailed and comprehensive guide to getting started.
  6. Yes, let's remove the other factors so we can make our drives last longer. GENIUS.
  7. Good music isn't an assembly line product. Assuming that one can create a Tales remix just as quickly and skillfully as a Final Fantasy remix or vice versa is so far off the mark. It's not a mechanical process; people make good music with what they feel is the right stuff to work with. This isn't a factory, and remixers aren't employees that take parts and piece together a contraption with enough time for the next set of parts to arrive. People remix what they want to remix, and people ask for what they want to hear. You can't just say "We need more Tales remixes, let's devote the OCR resources to pushing that." It doesn't work like that. Of course, you can offer incentive. But that's not the point.
  8. And this is why we never let mathematical logic govern musical preference.
  9. Just way too funny. You asked them if they minded that you committed a federal crime with their IP and you get mad that they don't take kindly to the idea?
  10. Not gonna argue the semantics of "big", but the Micro was objectively smaller by a noticeable magnitude. It takes up half the palm of your hand.
  11. There's an easy way to answer your question without actually having to ask it. Tedious, but easy. Read the terms and conditions agreements when you install the software. They're there to answer questions like this. Most sample libraries and synths don't care, though.
  12. I'd like to put out a potential claim for Street Fighter IV.
  13. Yeah, the GamePad has this screen thing on it. It's not that different.
  14. DJSBX, why are you talking basic DAW samplers when Zoltan is clearly talking about orchestral sample libraries?
  15. Game Boy Micro actually has a draw, being incredibly small and rechargeable. It's a great little pocket game device. Gameboy SP was a lot larger and took up more pocket room. You'd have this fat bulge in your pocket. A slimmer PS3 doesn't really do anything other than what a PS3 does. The slimness is purely aesthetic since a console sits by the TV, not around in your pocket.
  16. There actually really aren't any identical notes to the Lost Forest/Saria's Song theme. Only displaced chunks of the rhythm are there and some similar melodic patterns. It's probably the tambourine that gets you.
  17. My chord progressions are 2 chords long where are you guys learning music from ;_;
  18. And I totally forgot to mention that sometimes everything just works completely fine.
