  1. He was saying he's heard people use Shreddage better, so you need to do some more work on it. I don't think there is a good alternative to Shreddage, lol
  2. Correct, it is not a cable. It's a device you have to buy. It's also probably not what Etherealurtz has.
  3. 1) Not a USB port on the guitar. 2) That's not a USB Cable, it's a USB interface. Not the same as a USB cable you find lying around, like you were implying before.
  4. Infected Mushroom (Psytrance/Tight Electro), Hybrid (Ambient/Organic Electro), and Blue Stahli (New Metal/Electro, Flexstyle recommended this to me and you can PM him for more of this style) are pretty good for their own genres, which are unique in a way. Non-electronic, Peter White is pretty good Contemporary Jazz music. It's not as "free flowing" as some other jazz styles and has really nice grooves.
  5. I didn't know they make USB ports on guitars now.
  6. Make sure the other ear has a different amp sim preset. If you want to learn to mix music better, learning your tools inside out is absolutely essential. Yes, Addictive Drums has several compressors and they may as well all be on given how compressed your stuff sounds.
  7. Please don't put soundgoodizer on everything. It doesn't do what its name says. Soundgoodizer is a lite version of Maximus, which is an extensive multiband compressor. The only thing I hear accomplished from original to modified is the second one is much more over compressed.
  8. He still hasn't posted a mix since my debut.
  9. This is probably the coolest analogy I've ever seen. I'll definitely be using this when I teach people basics. Thanks!
  10. Why are you taking Expert Village seriously? edit: didn't even see zircon's post
  11. http://www.audiomidi.com/Steven-Slate-Drums-ESSENTIAL-No-Brainer/dp/B008XLA2N8 Steven Slate Essential is $20. It's its own VST too.
  12. I've never understood why OCR didn't bother to put this in.
  13. To OCR who grubbed for everything they could get from me and cried crocodile tears when I needed sympathy, To OCR I leave... A boot to the head.
  14. He actually doesn't modify the sound at all. I just played a wav mix of mine on this thing and on Winamp; the only difference I heard was that this Bug Head player is louder.
  15. NCSoft has the same issue with Aion. I can run Skyrim/Crysis 2/etc. on full settings with AA no problem, but when I try to do full shadows in Aion, the game runs insultingly sluggish. It actually had to remind me that I didn't overclock my graphics card again after reformatting, and when I did, it was better, but still not as smooth as I would've liked.
  16. Can you explain your reasoning as to why Bug Head is better and not just say it's better? I've never heard of poor sound quality in a media player. That's usually the issue with the actual file itself or the speakers.
  17. And that's when Modus discovered the Formant
  18. Entering my jungle is not a smart idea. I don't need to worry about mias regardless, because as Bleck said, I watch the map. It's kind of my job, being the team ganker.
  19. I meant moreso I don't have to care when others call mia, because I'm safe in the jungle. And similarly, I got like 3 kills in the first five minutes of the game, and enemy Akali calls me a noob. I then proceed to kill her and her teammates like they are tissue paper repeatedly, and every time she called me a noob. Bonus: When their Katarina attacked our Fizz, she died in no time. Enemy Akali then called Fizz "fucking stupid".
  20. I've never thought of doing that. I have noticed that raging in response makes me feed 11 kills.
