Okay so I was talking to Rayman the other day, and he was pretty mad about the whole not having any of his games on OCR. So I was like, hey dude you don't have any arms or legs so maybe I should do a remix. And he was like good plan little man. I told him that was a strange thing to say because I am much taller than him and not to mention I am real and he is not. -Contact Information- I'm in the database already, under the gloriously paradoxical alias of chthonic. -ReMix Information- Remix title - "Disconnected" Game Remixed - Rayman 2: The Great Escape Original Composer: Eric Chevalier Copyright: Ubisoft, 1999 System: Nintendo 64 Songs Remixed: Main Theme, Pirate Battle Screenshot/Game Image: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v355/chthonic/rayman2.gif (If you do not use this image it will hurt my feelings and seriously good luck finding a better one.) -chth why yes I did forget the link thank you for asking -chth

Email sub file Sonic_2_The_Murky_Deep_OC_Remix.mp3 Contact Info Ffej Jeff Kowalski sonofffej@comcast.net I believe my userid number is 5388. ReMix Info Sonic 2 (with Sonic 1) Mystic Cave Zone, Chemical Plant Zone, Aquatic Ruin Zone, Marble Zone, Bonus Stage (Sonic 1), Boss Theme (Sonic 2), Water Warning I've been attempting ReMixes for several years now, but none of them had any potential, or they were missing that certain "magic" that OC ReMix demands. Then it struck me. I hadn't been remixing music from games that are special to me. Sonic the Hedgehog was the first game I ever played. I got it for Christmas, along with a Sega Genesis and a copy of Madden '93, way back in 1992 when I was but four years of age. Sonic 2 came some time within the next two years, and I still have both. Every time I get tired of complew games, I hook up my Genesis and try to beat one of these wonderful games from my childhood. I did my best getting the ID3v2 tags to what is required, but some of them I couldn't find in the editors I tried. Sorry for any inconvenience. I am open to any and all suggestions on how to improve this ReMix

OCR01473 - *YES* Super Metroid 'Brinstar Bonsai Garden'
djpretzel posted a topic in Judges Decisions
Hey mr.Judges! Remixer Name: Red Tailed Fox Games Remixed: Super Metroid (Brinstar 2) Song name: Brinstar Bonsai Garden Link: (for the third time in my life, big thanks to Bladiator for the upload) Comments: Weeks ago I did a song in collaboration with Shnabubula called “Boat Soul”. I can say that in terms of instrumentation and arrangement, this ReMix is it’s younger sister, and tough this is a solo project, Shnab helped me a lot with it. It’s a laid back arrangement of “Brinstar 2” (don’t know if this is the exact name of the original). All done in Reason 3.0. Enjoy. Cheers! RTF! -

ShinnyMetal Brian Crawford ShinnyMetal@yahoo.com Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest Bloody Tears After hears all of the remix current for this song, they were all up beat, techno/rock remixes and I was astounded there wasn't a single orchestrated version of this song anywhere...which realy surprised me...so I set out to accomplish my first Orchestrated...anything...kudos to Zircon for his advice on the forums when it comes to music like this. I used Fruity Loops 5 pro. on this particualar song, since at the time it was all I had availible. the song can be found here:

ReMixer name: Fatty Acid Game remixed: Chrono Cross Title: Fluff of Legends An exploration of combining 8-bit chip synths with modern sounds for a hi-low sound, much like wearing jeans with a suit jacket! Hence, the primitive synth enjoys the simplest melody possible, while the roaring synths in the breakdown are mod-wheeled into pure oblivion. The "Da Da Da"-esque starting beat joins with a richer (but still minimal) beat when the strings join in. Also, I couldn't live with myself if I didn't try tweaking some of the harmonies. Hence, the II6-IV-iii progression in the beginning that comes out of nowhere (I have unexplainable bad habit of thinking of minor tonics as vi). In the end, I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for listening. -Fatty -- Joseph Liao MIT 2006, Biology e: jliao@mit.edu

Harps, viola, piano and guitars for this remix. Start with a soft part, then goes heavy and finishes soft again.
