email sub file The Road to Dam Cyan.mp3 Hip DJ name: DJ Possom E-mail: Powerpossom23@hotmail.com Game remixed: Final Fantasy IV Song: Castle Damycan Comments: I made this completely on the Demo of FL studio 5 (after hearing about it's exsistence on this site) and had a little help from a piano arrangment I learned to play. It includes a ska-like backbeat (with steeldrums) and a badly synthesized choir. The snare drum in the original song has ben replaced with a garbage can hit. That's about it. _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger! SirNutS: Well, after a long time and a lot of effort, this song is finished This is the first collaboration I have made with Usa, and I must say its a pretty damn good start. This remix is based on Usa's "Give Dance Its Rightful Time". I downloaded the mix a few months ago, but I didn't know Usa back then. When I heard the mix I thought it was great, but I also thought that it had a lot of potential that could have been used. So I asked him to let me make a new version based on his mix, and with his piano performance. Now, after some months and a lot of effort and polishing, we think the song is ready. I made this remix in Reason, and Usa provided the original concept, the storm effects and the great piano performance. This is one of my cleanest works to date, and I hope you all like it. Usa: Back when I made the original mix, "Give Dance Its Rightful Time", I never would have thought what will become of it, and that someone would like it so much that he would like to do a collab song based on it together with me. I was astonished mainly because this mix was just a test for the dance sounds my back then new PSR-3000 keyboard. It was a lot of fun working together with SirNutS on this one. We helped each other in a very productive way and it was fun too see the mix I made "grow up" slowly. He added more depth and we added some more ambience to it, given that feel that you are in the mana fortress, about to face the last battle, and the world is on the verge of chaos and destruction. There are hefty thunderstorms raging and the overall feel is uneasy, but you feel determined to engage into combat! And IMHO, I can only second SirNutS' statement and tell all of you that this mix really rocks! We hope you all have as much fun listening to it as we had in making it! Have fun! -This is a remix of fortress of mana theme "Give Love its Rightful Time" from Secret of Mana. The song can be found here: If you need some information or have any problems reaching the file, please let me (NutS) know.

link: remixer name: Revolver Project real name:Ty Scheuerman public email: Psytronic@sbcglobal.net website: http://www.revolverproject.tk forum id: 28063 (Jack the Ripper) game: Super Metroid (obvious enough? ..heh) original track: Brinstar Red Soil Theme (yeah - my apologies that another mix of the same theme was so recently put up) The mix is definitely my own sort of take on the theme.. the flute and strings and choral hits you hear were all created in a (somewhat) faithful sense, but were used primarily to link the track more closely to the original. I just recently returned to the mix after about 10 months of having it sit around, because I wanted to wait until I sort of knew what I was doing. I know the guitar can become somewhat repetitive (or at least it did to me while I was mixing), but I used to support the somewhat "inhuman" theme I had going in my mind while I was working. The two voice samples you hear in the song are both from the Hal 9000 computer in 2001: A Space Oddysey. I've heard that they're a little hard to understand to some, but they seem as clear as I possibly could make them since I returned to the mix. The words spoken are "This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error." Later on in the mix is "I know that you are planning to disconnect me, and I'm afraid that is something I cannot allow to happen." At the end of the mix, I just wanted to return to the original mix, and tone down the noise, because I think the original melody is really ingenious, and I just really had to make sure it made it into the mix somehow unspoiled by all the noisy guitars and drums. That should about do it. This is my first remix submitted, you have my apologies if I somehow missed something.

ReMixer Name: JD Harding Real Name: JD Harding E-Mail Address: jd_harding@comcast.net Website: None Game Title: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Game System: Sega Genesis Theme Title: Zone Boss New Song Title: Boss the Boss Yeah, it's me again. After ocremix.org's judges shot down that Daughter of Zeal mix, I took a vacation from remixing for a year to get my act together. Then I went back and listened to the remix, and it made sense to me why the mix wasn't accepted. So I spent a couple months getting to know my music software better, and after a week of work I came up with this. Sorry, the only way I can get this to you is through vgmix.com, as I no longer have a website of my own.

Hello OC-Crew, here’s an MP3-Song I created several years ago. It it based on Origin’s „Ultima 6 PC“-Intro-Songs, new Drumbeats and some Samples of the Ultima-Underworld-Series (1 or 2, didn’t exactly know which one it was). I used a Roland JW-50 Masterkeyboard and my good old „Creative AWE-32“ to create the MIDI-File. Thus I still have the MIDI-File on my Harddisk, one needs the fitting Soundfont-Bank with his Soundblaster (AWE32 and above) to hear the right sounds. Sorry for the „Attachment-Solution“, but my Provider doesn’t support free webspace. Your page is wonderful, keep on the good work! I hope you’ll like the Song; maybe one can reduce it’s Quality to shrink it?

Email sub file N Da Reef.mp3 Contact Info o Nitroneonicman o Sid Bostwick o nitroneonicman@gmail.com o Your userid (number, not name) on our forums ReMix Info o Sonic and Knuckles o Lava Reef Zone. o This is a very moody, or more particularly schitzophrenic peice that in which I tried to emulate the mood of not only the Lava Reef level but also the actual Sonic the Hedgehog vibe the original composers create. There's a short part in the middle where I intentionally disconnect the lead instrument from the drum track temporarily as to bridge the gap between the emotional mood and the party flavor...though I probably could have done it more artistically I ultimately just let it be. Enjoy.

Creative use of the instrument, if nothing else... reminds me vaguely of the X (anime film) OST... -djp Game: Jurrasic Park Remixer: Koelsch1 Title: T-Rex KHRUSH Dr. Grant IF YOU DONT PASS THIS, T-REX WILL KHRUSH YOU TOO!!! Remix of game over theam, Dr. Grant theam, Powerstation theam, and Map theam. The raptors are eating your flesh! Then goes into the rest of the stuff in an orchestral type thing. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!! All the dinosaur sound effects are made with the saxophone. During the orchestra part, I tried to get the sax to sound more like an oboe.

Email sub file Ninja Gaiden II - Windy Day Hayabusa Mix.mp3 Hey there! My name is Adam Schneider, though I go by the handle justonehuman for most online stuff (including, if you choose to accept this submission, my preferred Remixer ID). I've been meaning to send in a remix or two for some time to your site - I am absolutely loving the fact that there's a place for all of us enthusiasts to gather and share our combined interests in video games and music - and I finally got up the guts to send one in! This remix is one of my older works, so I can say with confidence that it's probably not my best work, but all the same it's the only completed remix I have at this moment, and I still think it's good enough for submission. To get, however, to the point, the remix in question is from Ninja Gaiden II on the NES. The song's title I don't actually know, but it was found in levels 2-2 and 4-2 of the game - the levels with rain/wind/water blowing and/or pulling poor Ryu all over the screen! The original music for these two levels is very, very basic - and unfortunately, somewhat repetitive - but I thought that was probably for the best, as it would be easier to reix the track and to add my own take on things. There are few things to watch for in this mix; hopefully they will come through alright on the mp3 conversion (this was originally done on a Mac in an .aiff format). First, at several points throughout this remix, including at the very beginning and during the solo part at 1:20, I've added a wind-like effect to pay tribute to those nasty, nasty elements which made our lives as players so miserable during those two levels. I also think that the harmonic back-up guitar part at 1:42 is worth listening for - it's one of the parts of this piece I'm happiest with. Lastly, I couldn't decide exactly how to end the remix for a very long time; the odd, echoing machine sounds seem *just* weird and surprising enough that I like the way that it brings things to an abrupt close. Admittedly, this remix doesn't have the highest quality instruments (it's kind of old, and I didn't get around to purchasing better sound packs until after it was almost finished), and it is still a touch on the repetitive side. Also, I've had a little trouble with distortion and noise during the conversion process to mp3, but I think that's been solved at this point (if it's still a problem, please let me know and I can send you a another copy with reworked volume controls and the like). I do think, in the end, that I've done enough to keep things interesting without totally departing from the original music track from the game. I look forward to hearing what you think of the piece - I am certainly prepared to accept any constructive criticisms you may have, and would be happy to rework things if that proves necessary. If you like the piece, and have any interest in other mixes I'm working on, I would also love to know that as well! Alright, well I'm done talking your ear(s?) off - I hope you'll enjoy this submission, and please feel free to let me know what you think, or if you have any questions. Thanks very much! Adam Schneider (a.k.a. justonehuman)

Potential MIDI rip?? - djp Hello Overclocked ReMix ! I wish to submit a remix i made The original music comes from the video game "Battle of Olympus" (Nes) Music originally written by K. Sawa. I personally played this game as a kid and loved the game and the music. So i tried to make a so called Remix of the music from the town "Arcadia" in the game. I made it in Fasttracker 2 with some different samples i've collected through the years. I know the quality of most samples are very poor. But i hope you will atleast listen to the whole song My Remixers name: Kriko My email: dea138@hotmail.com Thank you.

Email sub file DistantJ - Cryptic Marble.mp3 I apologise for attaching the file - I'm 'between jobs' and have no money for decent webspace. People have been constantly ugring me to submit this song, so I figured I'd just do it instead of waiting for someone to offer me some webspace to upload it to. I hope this isn't too inconvenient. Here's the information: Contact Info Your ReMixer name: DistantJ Your real name: Sam B. Your email address: distantj@gmail.com Your userid (number, not name) on our forums : 6272. (I think - that's what's on the end of the URL when I visit my profile.) ReMix Info Name of game(s) ReMixed: Sonic the Hedgehog (Megadrive/Genesis) Name of individual song(s) ReMixed: Marble Zone Theme Your own comments about the mix, for example the inspiration behind it, how it was made, etc.: Aztec, ethnic sounding trance take on Sonic's Marble Zone theme. Though I don't usually dedicate as much time and attention to my videogame remixes as I do my original pieces, I got a little carried away here. This is technically the third take on Marble Zone I've done, and goes a lot further than the previous ones did. I simply applied the genre-rule-bending nature of a lot of my original work to a vidogame remix. There are quite a few original sections in here, too. People seem to like it, and I'm quite pleased with it too, since I've approached the theme at an angle I usually save for original pieces. Whatever - the important part: Enjoy it.

Remixer Name:- The Trilobyte Real Name :- Matt Armstrong Forum User ID:- 24169 Game Remixed:- Seiken Densetsu 3 Song Remixed:- Religion Thunder I started doing my first few remixes in a rock style since I've always written original music in a math/indie/alt/space rock style. Then I tried a few things like drum and bass (I chose not to subject the panel to anything for a while), then I realised, I'm not the best remixer in the world, and if I'm going to get anything passable done ever, I should at the very least stick what I'm used to. Ok, this doesn't sound very awe inspiring yet does it. This remix is as you probably guessed in a rock style, it's taken from a kind of military march style song. I think the remix holds some of the emotion of the original while giving it some serious noise at the same time. I don't think I'm in the possession of the best soundfonts, I only really have access to free stuff plus my own bonehead approach to mastering. But I reckon, by my standards, I've done alright this time. You may disagree, and you'd probably be right to. Fingers crossed anyway..
