  1. Pretty good, bit unclear at times, good guitar tho - djp

Hi there, this is my first ReMix. Hope you guys like it. I Put a good amount of work into it and I am very pleased with it.

    Here's a link to it:

Not sure what you want the file named as, and the server doesn't really like long filenames, so you can rename it to whatever format you use. ID3v2 tag is all set.

You can credit it to me, GuitarDude.

Also you can throw in my e-mail: GuitarDude5321@aol.com

    Thanks, hope you like it!

  2. DjPretzel,

This is the first time I've submitted a remix and hopefully not the last.

    My name is Jeffrey Nordin.

    My alias is Anomaly.

The song is a remix of the menu music from Super Monkey Ball.

This was arranged entirely by me, so there are no complicated rights to deal with.

I made this song for a girl whose birthday I missed (...). Long story short, she likes Super Monkey Ball and I like composing. My company's website is

We make videogame music. The link to the remix that I affectionately title

    "Electronic Monkey Selection"

    is here:

The Id3v2 tags are set and ready to go.

    Thanks,

    Jeffrey Nordin

    the remix is here

there is an episode of Seinfeld with a Frogger machine in it;s plot so I did it up. Though I really enjoy your own version I felt compelled to 'aneurysm' it up.

  5. Greetings, it's Kain again... (well, there's no "again" if it's the first one you read, eh)

Ok, sorry but the URL and all was wrong, so here goes (and sorry for the bobo on your email account by email again):

    Thanks!

  6. Well, we did the first two - not that that makes the third a guarantee - djp

Hello again, I am submitting the third part of my Dancing Madly series.

It is called Dancing Madly - Third Form and it can be found at my website,

    Or at the direct link

If it is submitted please credit it to "waxingeloquent" at

    "waxingeloquent@hotmail.com"

It is a bit shorter than the other two but I like it =) Also I will

probably hold off on working on #4 for a while, until I find out if any of

these get submitted and if I will have enough time to do it justice.

    Thanks in advance!

  7. FTP link works, file also in HTTP space. This sounded way out of tune to me ...? -djp

Ok. I know that the submission system is a bit slow and lacking, but this is CRUEL. First, I send a remix and it took 3 months to get in the judges forums(and it got posted cuz I pointed you about it), then I sended 2 mixes after that, one of them I think the FBI erased the email from your inbox cuz I never heard of it again, and the other got reviewed cuz I pointed antonio pizza about it. I don't want to argue with you about this system, cuz I know there's no other way, but sometimes this kinda things makes me angry. Anyways, This is not going to stop me to love your site, or sending you (or the judges) my crap ^_^. My last mix almost gets posted.. and I think this one has great posibilities(BTW, I submited this one like 1 month ago but I didn't recieve the classic autoresponse, so I tought that it got lost and that's why I'm writing you this). This remix, is from the Double Dragon Theme. I need to make an important note on this: I started to work on this mix a lot of time before hammer's garage was posted. I'm telling you this because I've noticed that some things are similar between my mix and that one.(You can check the creation/modifying date of the file if you don't trust me).

and... yeah! this is techno for all of you judges. I know you love this kinda things ^_^. This was made in fruity loops, using only generators such as 3xosc, tst404 and mda. The only wav samples that you'll hear are the drums.

you can get this mix at and the name of the song is Dance Dragon. You can credit this remix to FielDYSnutS, or if you prefer, DJ FielDY. Again, thanks for your time, I would really apreciate some attention to this.

  8. Link is long but does work (copy/paste), file also in HTTP space. -djp

Hello. I'm new around here, but my friend told me about your site and said I should submit something. I consider this one of the best of my works (and certainly the latest), so I decided to send it here. I'll give you the URL and some info on me. If you decide to post it, please post it under my nickname. If you have a profile page or something, please post the rest of the information I gave in there. Sorry, the URL is a bit long, but I filled out the ID3 tags like you asked. If you want info on the song, refer to the v2 tag, as I could fill it out all the way.

EDIT: Naughty djp forgot to edit the link! SPANK!!!

EDIT AGAIN: Actually this was my fault. I closed and moved the thread and forgot to remove the link... perhaps I should leave that to the experts in the future  - analoq

    ReMixer: malfunction84

    Game Title: Final Fantasy I

Original Song: Matouya's Cave (SPELLED INCORRECTLY - Should be "Matoya" - DC13)

Hope you enjoy it! Thanks for compiling and maintaining such a fabulous archive!

  10. This is an awesome remix; But I have one little issue with it...

Why is it called "Pachelbel's Ganon?" Not anywhere in this remix did I hear anything resembling Pachelbel's Canon. Not in the chord progression, or the notes.

To me, this is just an emotional jazzy remix of Zelda's Lullaby, which is great; I just don't hear Pachelbel's Canon.

During the chorus, there is indeed a cello playing the melody from Pachelbel's Canon. It's not the same chord progression, obviously, but it "works" as a faint counter-melody regardless. You have to listen pretty close to pick it out, but it's there.

  11. This reminds me a lot of "La Samba De Agua." Live performance. Great arranging, but poor execution. It'd be good to get this music on paper. Hell I might be able to get the band here to play it. Anyway, it looks good on paper, and could SOUND good with the right players, but it really does have a very half-assed (read: high school) sound to it. I wish I had gotten back to this thread before it was locked so I could put a big fat NO on it, but alas. I just hope djp catches this and exerts his veto power again. We'll see..

    D

Well, honestly, I'm glad you said something, because I was thinking about it.

I like De Agua better. Here's my take on this - the recording's pretty bad and the playing is ehhhh. If we post it, we are essentially saying "if you're able to get a high school band to play videogame music, we'll post it" - the arrangement is basically taking the original and assigning parts to cover elements of it, then recording the result.

Granted, not everyone can do that, nor does everyone have a band at their disposal. If we posted it, we might need to say "just this once - from here on out, it'd have to be ten times better" - or we can not post it at all. Can anyone help me out? I hate to make vetoing a regular thing.

EDIT: I turned my edit into a reply, see below -prot

  12. this is the song that some friends and I joked around and made for a DDR

thing, but then I showed it to a couple of other people and they wanted me

to send it to you, so.... here it is, I didn't do the IDv1 or IDv2 because

it was a joke to begin with... But, if you want the specs on it, I'm

Kegareta Shineba and my friend is Mad Munky... this is supposed to be a

tetris remix. Do with it what you'd like, just don't gyp us out of credit,

    thanks man.
