  1. Definitely has that ominous feel to it, which works pretty well. Keep at it!
  2. I went and downloaded every album on the site, and I love them all. Thank you for bringing this music to our attention.
  3. @Orpheon: For this reason, I've been keeping EVERY version that has been released (4 so far: 1.0, 1.6, 2.0, and 3.0).
  4. Evidently it was. I just retried, and the page loaded quickly.
  5. Is the site down or something? None of those links in your post work, not even your signature.
  6. Ooooh, I like this opening. Stick it in an emotional movie scene and you have a winner. The piano breaks that mood, though, giving the track a more upbeat feel, and the percussion and "synth lead" (only name I know it by) help it out quite a bit. I like it, but I wish the opening felt a bit more upbeat to keep it consistent. That, and/or use the opening for a sad track. I'm no remixer, so take this all with a grain of salt. Overall I like the track, though. 87 out of 100.
  7. Nice opening with the "electronica" instruments (whatever they're called). It speeds up and gets moving at a very good pace, bringing in "more of the song" in just the right amount for me. I like how it flows the rest of the way. And you're right, I could see this in an action movie in the right situation, with perhaps a bit of stealth and a lot of camera cuts between two parties. All in all, good track!
  8. I've looked all over the Internet for various Cave Story remixes for some time now, but for some reason, I have found no remixes of Eyes of Flame. For those unaware, Eyes of Flame is the battle music that plays for Balfrog, Monster X, Misery, and a few other boss fights. You can listen to it in this YouTube clip. Assuming there are indeed no remixes, why? Does the track not lend itself to a remix? Is it unpopular? I think this track could inspire a great remix, and if anyone gives it a shot, I'm definitely all ears. So, is anyone interested?
  9. I love all of these; but I'm especially fond of Arigato. I've found myself hitting the rewind key at the end of the song several times in a row.
  10. A minute ago I checked the links. 404s. Perhaps you should make a drop (www.drop.io) or something so we can listen?
  11. I followed the link in your signature, then the link in FAQ Question 0. I assume there aren't any download links yet (of WIPs or otherwise). I eagerly await completion of the project.
  12. I'd like to hear someone's take on the Gym Leader battle theme from the third generation of the Pokemon games. Please reply if you wish to try remixing it or if you have a question. As a side note, I have two remixing styles in mind: (1) A sad, piano-and-string-led version that implies a recent defeat, or (2) something in a style that you might expect from a well-scored movie with a climatic battle sequence. I am not a musician, and beggars can't be choosers, but I thought those might help with ideas. Here is the original tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gx_Aar7BLg
  13. I, for one, would like to hear someone give a shot at remixing "The Encounter" (KH2), Forze del Mal (KH1), or Sinister Shadows (KH2). Or perhaps a new remix of Darkness of the Unknown (KH2); my taste runs toward the second section of the three-part theme. If anyone decides to give one of those a whirl, please reply.
  14. This is quite an astounding album! Kudos to you.
  15. The jump from version 1.6 to version 2.0 presents one short bit that irks me -- the beginning. I prefer version 1.6's opening, which has only one melody playing; by contrast, version 2.0's opening feels like a bit of a musical overload to me. In this sense, version 1.6 eases the listener in, while 2.0 drops the listener into the piece like a hot potato. After that nit, however, it's beautiful and amazing. I keep and listen to all three released versions (1.0, 1.6, 2.0).
  16. I could always use some new tracks to listen to. I'll definitely check these out.
  17. I'd like to hear a remix of this one as well. It musically sums up the game for me, alongside the Priphea Flowers theme.
  18. Sounds pretty good to me. I like the melody.
  19. Indie game though it may be, I feel Cave Story deserves a spot on the list. Ballos, anyone?
  20. I have two requests to make. First, I'd like to hear someone try remixing the Gym Leader battle theme found in Pokémon: Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald versions. Two styles I'd like to hear it done in include a dramatic remix and a depressed, lost-the-battle remix. The first is preferable, but hey, I'll just be glad if someone does it. The original can be heard here: . My personal favorite part of the tune starts at 0:43 and lasts to 1:17.The other theme I'd like to hear ReMixed is "The Encounter", found in Kingdom Hearts 2. (Listen here: ). I have no particular style in mind.Thank you in advance!
