I think in general the Maverick remix battle had outstanding tracks from everyone. The first GRMRB had some great individual tracks, but in my opinion everyone really stepped up their game in the GMRB. We can only hope this compo will be as good! (I think it will)

Great track. I've actually had this one on my playlist for awhile when Proto had it posted in the WIP forums. I, also, wasn't too familiar with dubstep, but this track sounds awesome nonetheless.

No... he is making an excellent choice! And we need more Snake Man mixes too. Cause his theme is awesome.

Unfortunately I don't have the time, nor are my skills exactly up to par to participate, but I loved observing and voting on the first GRMRB and the Maverick Remix Battle, so I will definitely be looking forward to seeing how this one turns out! Ok, I suppose that's fair... luckily there seems to be an awesome album being released on OCR every month this year, so hopefully that will make the wait till December more bearable!

Not trying to be annoying... but I'd really love to hear that preview track that was discussed before Xmas Anticipation of this album is just killing me...

Hydrocity is my favorite Sonic song. I pretty much agree with everyone here... this sounds awesome and the style is awesome. WE JUST NEED MORE! I'd definitely love to see you expand on this. Make it longer, work some more of the Hydrocity theme in there! And a direct mp3 link would be great! Youtube sound quality leaves much to be desired. Good start!

Yeah, I mean the spring noises in the very beginning of the song don't give it away or anything... I really like this mix, even if it is more "liberal". I actually prefer a more 50/50 or 60 source/40 original composition anyway. If we're keeping 90-100% source but just changing instrumentation or structure, what is the fun in that? Improvisation feeds an artist's creativity.

Reading that, and seeing halc say Sonic 1 is possibly the first game he's ever played really makes me feel old now

Superb work! Every track is extremely high quality and I can tell there was a focus on detail throughout the album. I have to agree with halc's review on the SOS website... DrumUltimA & Harmony's track is quite possibly one of the best remixes ever. Awesome job all around!

Awesome! I had been refreshing ocremix.org all day this morning waiting for the album to drop. So far I'm through the first half and it's great so far! As for this track, it was great as well! Green Hill is one of those tracks that is hard to elaborate on without losing the melody, but I like how this track sound familiar yet still distinct. Great job!

This is my favorite track off the album. The instrumentation really gives it a distinct feel. I love it!

Been listening to this all day while I've been working. Overall I really like it. Every song sounds really polished and well executed. You can definitely tell it's a Joshua Morse album, his signature style and sound is throughout. I particularly like Spark Man's theme (we need some more Spark man remixes in general), and I like Yamato Man a lot too, mainly because it deviates from the sound of the rest of the album and really stands out. It seems like Joshua took some liberties on this song and branched out from his "typical" sound. Great job!

AWESOME! Downloading the torrent as we speak. I love Mega Man and I love Joshua Morse's music. What better a combination?

Absolutely love this track. I think it's been through my playlist like 50 times this week already. I've never been a huge fan of vocal remixes, but I really like how it worked here. Great job!

This album is absolutely amazing. Probably my favorite OCR album yet. Really every track is great, but I particularly liked Mattias' Mega Man track (I'm a sucker for Mega Man and jazz) and Jose's Link track, which really surprised me. I didn't know what to expect, but I love the beat and the lyrics. Both of the TMNT tracks are also awesome (why don't we have more TMNT tracks on OCR!?). I know I didn't go into much detail with this "review", but just wanted to say how great this album is! Awesome job everyone!

I liked Zircon's "Charge my Shot Up" from the GRMRB a little bit more, but this song was great too! I definitely liked the different style.

yeah this mix is pretty damn awesome. Definitely one of my favs from the GRMRB. A lot of the songs that came out of the GRMRB were pretty memorable tho, a great collection of mixes! Great job Willrock!

Arghh I can't believe I missed this. I loved the GRMRB but didn't find out about that one till it was already over, and now I've almost completely missed this one. At least it looks I can still vote in the final!

I keep reading about how awesome everyone keeps saying their mixes are and it continually makes me wish I could hear some of them. Wild Arms is probably my favorite vg soundtrack ever, so I'm really looking forward to this one. I hope that preview comes out sometime soon!
