  1. Not bad. Always nice to hear someone go out and just let loose on the vocals and taking this song down a punk rock avenue is cool. Really nailed it on this arrangement, great job!
  2. Whoa, pure sugar rush incoming! So happy and fun, this is a feel good mix that just does not let up, and I like things like this every now and then. The retro sound coming off of this does remind me of halc's brand of chippyness, and the melody is something that I would expect from something called Flimbo's Quest would have, but damn, it's just so happy I can't resist smiling at it.
  3. Wow, those synths are putting in the overtime work here. Lots of grit and warping, but it fits with the rest of the electronica in this mix, and the main melody still comes through, so that great. Sweet beat and it continues to change and grow or go in a new direction with each passing second. Awesome.
  4. Sounds amazing, guys. Lots of nostalgic vibes from the opening and ending of the mix, but enough originality and personalization in the middle to keep it fresh for OCR. Also liked the voice clips added in. Short and sweet, very cool.
  5. Yeah! A get up and go ReMix for sure! This has an insane level of busyness in it and I can see how this might drive some folks crazy, but never letting up while keeping it in line and not delving into pure chaos and psychotics is a pretty good feat. This gets wild as hell, but makes sense. Nicely done.
  6. That beat really gets the blood pumping and has enough of an edge to bring about some feelings of action taking place. That hard guitar riff is awesome and I'm enjoying the mellow piano section as well. Fantastic break from the rest of the mix. Really is set up and written like something I would expect on a fighting game stage.
  7. Neat intro. Really digging the mood set with those synths and guitars making it such an upbeat and lively ReMix. Wonderfully warm and uplifting in spirit. Damn good work Ivan.
  8. Sounds cool to hear these sources done in such a cerebral, players thinking kind of way. Fun to hear it ReMixed like this rather stuck in full blast with nothing behind it. Great use of synthy elements. Very nice.
  9. Smooth music with a bit of a pulse. Now that's my kind of chill. I think this is the kind of chill that is more likely to make you feel cool than relax you enough for a nap, but either way, this is the perfect kind of easy-going ReMix for the very start of a wind-down. So nice and smooth, love it.
  10. Fantastic piano playing, Nostalvania. The town and Kokiri sound awesome played together in such a cohesive way, and it's so chill that I can fully relax to this with a smile on my face. Much needed here lately, honestly. The technique and the skill shown here is pretty damn sweet. Impressive ReMix.
  11. Ah, yes, DnB with a vibe that could be traced to Pendulum. Well, I'm already sold. Then throw out there that TGH was the one that did it and with a source from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, and hell, the enjoyment factor is a foregone conclusion. Let's face it, he ReMixed it, he nailed it, and he's going home with it. The production sounds great and I love the feel of this arrangement. Great job.
  12. This ReMix has all the hype you could want for an incredible battle. Love hearing it kick into a higher gear after that 3, 2, 1, GO! voice clip. Love the synth work, the progression of the mix, there is just so much to like about this one. Fine work by you gentlemen.
  13. Any sort of repetition was drowned out of my mind by the terrific work in taking this source and turning it into a DnB jam. And that section with the original guitar at 2:11, damn, loving that. The beat, the energy, the recognizably of the source and the ability to make it something cool, all there. Judges may have been split, but I would have to say all the positives outweighed any negatives in the writing or production for me. Great stuff, man.
  14. Nice, man. Some hot rock is always welcomed to hear, and while I was digging Boomer's sections more, I do have to say that I enjoyed this arrangement. Not bad.
  15. For the ones I've been able to play as, I love Miles Edgeworth. But out of all the characters with the attorney title, Simon Blackquill became my favorite attorney to fight against.
  16. Damn, man, I didn't even hear about this until now. Rest in peace, Origa. Far too soon and a talent that will be missed.
  17. Hahaha, nice. Rocking guitars and kicking drums were pretty good as was that sax run-in which I wasn't expecting, but it went with everything extremely well. Love the humorous lyrics and vocals. Terrific music and a sweet comedic spin, definitely one of my favorite ReMixes off this album.
  18. Solid house arrangement of the Song of Healing. It takes its sweet time to build up, but it's well worth listening all the way through and getting the full effect of the ReMix.
  19. Bubbly, happy, catchy and filled with Kirby-esque nods. Totally digging this.
  20. 1. Cosmic Sounds 2. Gario 3. Hylian Lemon
  21. Definitely hearing some Katamari style in this arrangement with the playfulness and vocal "lala"'s. This is fun to listen to and a great way to present the album, which I'm looking forward to hearing more of soon.
  22. I gotta show some love for my Ace Attorney girl! Vote is in! Mia Fey (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney) Glass Joe (Punch-Out!!) Makoto (Street Fighter)
  23. Hmmm.....this is such a bizarre mix, as was the case with Cancer, but the difference being that I know the sources to this one and so I have more of an understanding to the sounds and distortions going on, which I think helped me. A little bit too much distortion at some points for me, but that's just a personal taste thing, not a real complaint on the merit of the ReMix itself, as I recognize the grit that it brings to this mix on a dubstep level. Interesting on how it sort of turns into a smoother jazz version of Goddess at the end. Such a weird mix, but certainly not a bad one. Nice job.
  24. Now this is an intense ReMix that really fits the fighting/battle theme that fighting games and the venue of Apex honors. Great DnB chops with enough glitch and grit to bring the heat! Damn good stuff, Timaeus!
  25. I know very little of Jazz Jackrabbit, but this mix makes me want to at least check out the soundtrack. The sources really went together well, and being able to pick out Koopa's Road easily makes it easy for me to see why they would work like this. As far as techno goes, this is an awesome example of it being done right. I liked the tempo change myself. All in all, awesome ReMix, man.
