I hear that. I borrowed the first game from a friend about a year ago and tried playing it. The problem was that the game didn't work as it was supposed to. The character and the enemies were moving too fast which made aiming and fighting was a bit too difficult when you faced super fast enemies. Sneaking was pretty impossible too.

If you know at least two build orders, yes you can skip it. If you know what building does what, yes you can skip it. If you are confident enough that you can take some cheese sometimes without throwing a ragequits, yes you can skip it.

In that case you don't want to play against me. I've been practising two drone harassment that will delay the rracks and therefore the whole wall-in long enough for my zerglins to hit the mineral line. It doesn't always work, but it will deal significant damage either to mining time or delay any build the opponent might be planning. Plus it all new way of trolling. Considering that the initial investment is just two drones, it's often well worth the risk. I don't do it all the time though, because I enjoy longer games.

interesssting... Tell me, how do you feel about drone harassing your SCV that is building the rracks?

My usual set-up is 1-3 for armies, 4-7 for queens and 8-0 for hatcheries. number 1 I commonly preserve for the scouting drone and once it has done its job, I switch the hotkey for harassing units such as speedling, mutas or infestors. Bear in mind that the numbers 8 to 0 are ALL key'd for same hatcheries, ALL of the hatcheries. There's no sense to select them one-by-one to produce units from them.

Welcome to the herd... I mean swarm IMO the main difference between Z and T mechanics and philosophy is the lack of wall-off, more aggressive midgame and expansions and the lack of good anti-air in the early game. And yes, the queen spitting the larvae and creep tumors every few minutes. It takes practice to balance between two to three bases and still be able to pull off a proper micro. It takes more practice than with other races, me thinks. Also, it seems that I'm still in platinum league

New season, huh.... I need to check my rankings. I wouldn't mind if I would drop back into gold. That'd give me easier time to practice my 1v1.

How exactly did The Darkness step outside of the box? Other than having a decent plot, shooting any light sources, summoning some demons to fight alongside with you and sprouting two black snakes from the protagonist's arse, it seemed like every other FPS on the shelves.
