    I liked your original idea. Elimination would only fuel the fire to get better but there's enough competition in the musical world as it is. OCR is a good break from it.

    I like having teams but definitely up the time between rounds to 2+ weeks. I've found it is extremely tough to do anything more than offer a few crits with anything less.

    I think boss/battle themes could be incorporated pretty well into the compo but of course it's your call.

    I'm pretty sure I was in that same room at some point (with lukas or shinnymetal) pretty buzzed watching that random jewel game. I had no idea what the hell was going on.

    Someone was standing to the side of me though and I can't remember who it was. We were talking about pen flipping. Now i'm wondering if that was shrack.

    Shrack it sounds like we were standing in the same room at some point ...and you didn't sign my book!!

    You had us each sign your book if I remember correctly.

    Yea, guess what you'll be signing again. Well, it won't be the same book i can tell you that. :) unless of course, you don't want to. :(

    lmfao, where'd you even get that picture Gar? I assume MAGFest, but it looks like one I've not seen

    Maybe you forgot who I was when we met. I was the guy standing right next to the TV in your room at MAGfest wondering why the heck everyone was sitting around watching TheRex play pokemon when there was a full friggen free-play arcade some five floors below us.

    That's when I snapped the picture. Apparently something happened when therex was playing because everyone was looking kinda funny at that exact moment. I didn't understand what I was looking at. Some jewels and stuff. Reminded me of columns, but it wasn't.

    And Tidus and Yuna aren't whiny and weak. I just hope they updated the mix / EQ on the voices to make it more obvious. There's a lot of subtleties to the performance that most people, who cling to the laugh quack sequence, just don't grasp.

    What subtleties? Yuna talked like she was horribly traumatized throughout the entire game.

    I liked FFX but no where near to the extent that I loved FF7, FFT and FF9. Hate to say it but i'm with shadow on this one. The game was waaay too linear (why was the blinking light on the map even necessary? you could only go in two directions)and it DIDN'T HAVE A WORLD MAP!! I did like the Blitzball mini game though.

    ToX on the other hand... is FANTASTIC and it's already out!! (but no world map either...)

    Thanks for the review Therex. I went to the library and I got the Complete Idiot's Guide to Music Theory - Dyed Blond Girl Edition. I try to brush up all the things I learned in high school so next time I won't make any key mistakes.

    There we go. :-P Racist/sexist stereotypes averted.

    IF darke is able to get them up tonight ...is what I should have added.

    Hey I'd love to but the ball is in Darke's court right now. Until he makes that hyperlink go hyperactive we has gotz to wait :(

    Me thinks the LP will be tomorrow night at this rate.

    When I first read this I thought it was "Darke's in court right now."

    But then i remembered today was a holiday. Even if Darke had too much fun at PAX I think they would still wait until Tuesday to do anything right?
