never heard of shreaddage. 100% clean? i'll take a look, but then again the real challenge is getting a realistic riff, solo etc..

the reason why guitars sound bad sampled to amps is because your NOT giving your amp sim a real clean sound but a sample of a clean sound. but again expencive guitar sample kit != good sounds, effects friendly, sound versatility nor a changible tone with a amp that sounds good. Plus since your using SAMPLED sounds, your pickups are not tangible and cannot be changed to change guitar tones. lots of other reasons but now you know to just pick up a guitar. its not hard to learn. it takes time that is all.

on the vocals try the haas method to resolve some of the wave propagation

lots of soft synths are great, just arnt that fat *cough*massive*cough*

fix the lead synth.

i borrow this baby http://www.vintagesynth.com/moog/voyager.jpg for vst's, sytrus and bio toxic (great sampler as well) blow any soft synth out the park. they just sound more fat then any other synth to me. i mean altho they same with fl , i bought them just to use them in other daws. then theres massive only for its wavetables

lol fine saw lp with distortion effect . i tryed making a super saw with a FM'D white noise in toxic bio and i was close but not on spot , i may be missing somthing in the algorithem.

oh not the windy sound in the start, i meant the pad through out the song. im thinking its a distortion with some saw and a LP but im not sure.

Edit did not like the second master, so i removed second master, also im done with this mix so i will put it under finished.....

the intro does not have to be all guitar, use pads, synths, orcha samples etc..... go crazy!

that was a interface quesion, im just off interface, i can still pan 5.1 in fl with the template (cause i have a 5.1 sound card but no audio interface), dispite that i could just buy a interface tommorow or wait till my good pc is fixed then get a new interface. Edit i made a thread on 5.1 vsts but 1 person told me to get sony acid or use vegas but i cant buy that software atm. specificly like this , or this .

no the title was suppost to mean that i have 2 quesions involving my current crap pc and a interface, which is quesion one, and was wondering using the asio on a sound card would be better then using a asio on my stock sound chip from reltek.

no i mean for the 5.1, i never said im buying HD lol, i know money cant buy mixing lol , i mean protools 5.1 mixing cause i heard you can mix 5.1 with various methods, and i dont have any 5.1 mixers and i cant buy sony acid atm, but my bud can give me a copy of protools if i want.

1. well my other pc broke down with my old audio card so now im on a temp with these specs Celecron @ 2.00GHz with 3.00 of ram on a reltek card with a lathency of 672, and before i by a interface like the fast track pro http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/FastTrackPro.html , i want to know how low my lathency would be with the fast track pro. 2. should i get this http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/FastTrackPro.html or should i buy this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/706630-REG/E_MU_24_56206_0404_PCIe_PCIe.html and save for a preamp for my guitar

yah i understand that, like for people who record things with multiple instruments with racks etc. some rich kid i know in my school said his dad bought the package for $3,000 interface for PTHD. what kinda super plugins, anything better then my moog or (cheap) compressor and exciter rack. like the IOzone mastering suit, tell me, i may still try it.
