  1. Actually it was suggested that there be another chip rave, but as a full event- i suggested that you help put together the mix :3
  2. In 2009 we managed to do a compo every single week save for major holidays that fell on Thursdays. Bravo! --- In 2008, ThaSauce introduced our version of the one hour compo system. Unfortunately due to a fall in attendance, many were cancelled and never scheduled. With Magfest energizing us all, I am excited to say that we will be once again holding weekly compos. We will be keeping the same time slot (Thursdays at 6 PM Pacific, 9 Eastern). These compos are for everybody - If you just started writing music 3 days ago or have been doing it all your life, this is for you. Our goal is to improve our skills with these weekly hourly exercises, everyone is encouraged to participate and bring friends. Discussion is held in #thasauce on irc.esper.net during the compo, we also listen to the completed songs as a group. If you do not wish to participate in the chat, you may still submit a song via the website. Once again, everyone is encouraged to join. We are also very open to ideas and new themes, so feel free to let us know what you think. List of all OHC rounds
  3. http://injury.thasauce.net/magfest_7_album.htm Sup post magfest depression
  4. Congratulations! Great video, you both look very happy in it XD
  5. Nope, since you can't have both horde and alliance on a pvp server on the same account. Just roll a blood elf, you can be pretty still
  6. y'all i just need someone to fill a bed (not mine) who won't steal my shit when i'm not looking >:[ I have q-pa tenatively in that bad now, if someone wants to bunk with him we're full up and g2g bro
  7. You guys would get more podcasts if you acknowledge the one that exists Prepare to be astounded by the amount of love two people can have for the community. http://saucecast.thasauce.net
  8. Two. If you want, you and your wife can share the second bed. Two people are staying on the floor so 6 total
  9. I've got an empty bed in my room. If I can get 2 people to fill it, the cost will be $73.50 a head. There will be snackies. So far I've got SammyG, Tyberisuzumebachi, my roommate and myself in the room. The room is reserved from the 31st to the 4th. I'd prefer people I know of course, and two people that don't mind sharing a bed together PM me if interested!
  10. We are always accepting new members from the ocr community feel free to message an officer when one of us is on. Hate to hear about the lag, i understand if it's unplayable from your location though I'm in California pacific time and the server is based on central time. Regularly my ping is about 220, which is just fine with me.
  11. Wiredzombie, We play horde on Illidan. The races you can choose from are Blood Elf, Orc, Troll, Undead and Tauren. Unfortunately we cannot group up with alliance humans because it is a PVP server, you cannot have characters of both factions on the same server, so you would likely have to delete your human and roll one of the above races to hang out with us. I understand if you want to play alliance though, but you were looking for people to play with and we play horde.
  12. http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showpost.php?p=474742&postcount=2731 No one I know from OCR plays there. Most of us are on Illidan, and the queue times have been pretty low/nonexistent the last couple days. Let me know when you roll so I can hook you up.
  13. There is also a remixing forum, if you search through the threads you'll find many questions similar to yours that have already been answered, as well as quite a bit of information about different programs that people use to make music. http://www.ocremix.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12 Good luck!
  14. Most of the remixer/forum profiles will link to the artists personal webpage, if they want exposure on their originals/other remixes/what have you, that would be a good place to check as well.
  15. Levelling up my fiercesome death knight orc in hellfire peninsula. Feel free to roll with us, i might be a little slow with the run throughs until my main gets closer to 80 but i'm always happy to help with quests or provide golds and bags and suches.

  17. I was asked nicely by Atma to post this from #ocrtf2 and for some reason i feel guilt if i don't. http://shapoops.googlepages.com/zuz.txt
  18. Pretty much this. A line has been drawn, the casual players versus the intense competitive players. I thought having an OCR server was a way to get the casual players like me to have a fun place to play, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I don't see what would be harmful in choosing one day a week to only allow OCR people on the server just for a couple hours for us casuals. The ZUZ people are driving your friends off the server anyway.
  19. Sorry to say but I have been playing less and less on the OCR server because it is no longer fun with this kind of thing going on. Pretty much the only times I come on is to melee battle with Tensei, otherwise it's just too competitive to be fun anymore. You know, the whole "game = fun" laughable concept.
  20. Just missed us! I've got you on my friends list, so as soon as you sign on you ought to get a guild invite.
  21. So far so good, after maintainance it seems that the lag on Illidan has been stabilized - it was green all day. I managed to get into Black Temple today, kind of ridiculous. That's why I love this server <3 PvP servers tend to have the best PvE progression as well. And Val I love playing with you :3 I try to follow and figure out how on earth you level so fast! My priest can barely stay caught up, but my mage (level 30ish) can still hang with the lower level crowd and level with them.
  22. I have to say that I am quite appalled by the rudeness in this thread, coming from people I'd never expect it from. Metal-Ridley, I do wish you the best of luck. Remixing can be a lot of fun. Not all of us can be up to the OCR standards, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't remix. Do what you enjoy doing, and don't give up. There's a lot of good advice in the words said in between the hateful speech and sarcasm. And if your remix gets rejected but you still feel it's good, feel free to submit it to remix.thasauce.net as well. Our standards aren't quite the same, as we allow covers and generally good music rather than the rigid set of rules OCR has. Don't get me wrong, it works well for this site, but there is still plenty of good music out there that might not make it up here, but still deserves to be heard by the general public.
