Googles first result is the blog, not the main page - which is here: http://www.nerdapaloozafest.com/ This was an extraordinary amount of fun. I learned about many bands including , Dual Core and and got to see favorites like The Megas - and of course, the epicness that was performing for the first time together. Videos should be popping up on Thasauce.net within the next couple of days.mc chris puts on a fantastic show, even though he sounds like a 5 year old.

Once I get all the requests, I'll be doing my best to sort them so that each person gets at least a Youtube link, original sound file and mp3 wherever possible. If the requester fails to provide any of those, I can't guarantee that the right song from the soundtrack will be understood and given to the remixer. There's a bit of sorting to do, the more sources your are able to provide the better. Some people were even kind enough to find several sources and provide them all in a zip (<3). We'll end up hosting anything that is on a megaupload or other file sharing host on Thasauce proper. My goal is to get the best possible sources to the remixers so they can begin work straight away with no confusion as to what song they're mixing.

We're about even, if anything we could use a couple more requests. Keep em coming!

I've gotten 20 challenges so far, keep them coming! We need about twice as many for the next phase. Keep in mind you don't have to be a remixer to submit a challenge, and this may be your chance to get that one song you've wanted to hear remixed for a while into the hands of an able and willing remixer...

I'm open to ideas of course, but if i get 5 people that want to compo and they all happen to be on windows, FL would be my solution since we could all use the demo Of course, if we could decide on a single sample and manipulate it to all hell, that would work in any DAW and OS.

I would love to host a compo for this. I'd think a throwback to 3xosc only would be wonderful, but I would want to make sure that everyone who wanted to participate had the proper software to do so. There are a couple of options on mac to get FL running as well, but if there are any other ideas let me know, and I'd be happy to set up a compo time for it.

Bump for great justice. also... Some people are having trouble grasping the concept of "one hour" compo. Please be advised that you are to complete as much as you can between 6 PM PST and 7 PM PST. Between 6:00 and 6:10 you must be rendering and finishing any final tweaks, between 6:10 and 6:20 you must have your file uploaded. There will be *NO* time extensions this week. The purpose of this exercise is to get as much done as efficiently as you can within the one hour period, not to perfect anything but your own personal efficiency and skill. I don't mean to sound harsh, but it is not fair for those who follow the rules to have to wait an extra 30+ minutes for the listening party to begin. Do your best!
