  1. I may join this. I suck at singing but I'll make my sucking fun! Hehe
  2. You got it! I've also received a nice WIP from Chernabogue, we may even finish this EP on time!
  3. Hah I placed my marker exactly on my house but someone moved me in the middle of a field xD No need for corrections though, I'll just stand there and get bitten by snakes and attacked by wild boars
  4. You got it! Still need more people! Maybe it's time to go asking around xD
  5. I'd be content with 7-8 tracks, 5 is the absolute minimum.
  6. Double-post bump! Still need more tracks! Here, have another OST you could cover, composed by none other than Akira Yamaoka:
  7. Well if you want to try, I'll put you on the tracklist
  8. Hah I was having this exact same album idea a while ago. Maybe I'll claim something later
  9. You got it! Wanna claim it or are you just suggesting that someone does it?
  10. World Cup Remix EP Director: Ivan Hakštok PREVIEW: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/93696675/preview.mp3 Tracklist: Inazuma Eleven - claimed by Brandon Strader Mario Strikers Charged Football - claimed by Chernabogue Kunio Kun Nekketsu Soccer League - claimed by Mak Mega Man Soccer - claimed by jnWake Tehkan World Cup - claimed by Eino Keskitalo Battle Soccer 2 - claimed by Ivan Hakštok Pro Evolution Soccer 3 - claimed by Ivan Hakštok, streifig no WIP basic WIP substantial WIP near completion completed wav received This EP is supposed to be dedicated to the upcoming FIFA World Cup, which stars on June 12th. The concept of the album is simple: up to 8 remixes from soccer games, any soccer game is fine, including games like Mega Man Soccer and Inazuma Eleven. I'd like to have one remix per game but of course exceptions may occur! In order to claim a game, just reply here or shoot me a PM, no WIP necessary, but if two artists claim the same game/source and one of them has a WIP ready, he gets the advantage. Oh, and there's no genre restrictions. And you're free to suggest a name for the EP xD Deadlines: In order to get the EP ready for evaluation on time, the deadlines are simple: all tracks need to be finished by May 15th! Here are some example games and themes: Tecmo World Cup Soccer - Nintendo World Cup - Konami Hyper Soccer - (this in mariachi style would be awesome xD)Championship Soccer 94 - Super Soccer - Super Formation Soccer 94 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsgM7xTTQtM Mega Man Soccer - Inazuma Eleven -
  11. Yo, I'm available for the show tonight if you need people
  12. Looks like I'll have to keep my track relatively short in order to send it on time, still have like 30 seconds to finish... time to hurry!
  13. Working on it, no worries. Got one more college-related thing to do today for this semester which leaves the entire Saturday and Sunday to finish my track
  14. I remix whatever I want to, including relatively newer games, but (there's always a but in here somewhere) I'm not that into remixing big AAA titles. They tend to have pretty unmemorable soundtracks, and the songs that are actually memorable are already on a high level of quality and I don't feel like remixing stuff like that. Maybe I'm generalizing but I'm pretty sure 99% of the remixers feel the same way. Meanwhile, there's lots of new obscure/indie/unknown games with great soundtracks, but people aren't remixing those because they've never heard of them. Soooo, my point is: good game != good music, good music != known music, get more people to know more good video game music (not only from newer games, but from any game!) and you'll get more remixes of that music.
  15. I think I saw this at some other forum (maybe theshizz) and I have to say I liked the idea!
  16. Haha, thanks! I don't have any reason to hide what VSTs I use :P

  17. Some months don't have zip files, but you can grab the songs here: http://dwellingofduels.net/dodarchive/
  18. http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/f/fluid-soundfont/fluid-soundfont_3.1.orig.tar.gz The thing is, I usually use lots of higher quality free samples (this is like the 2nd time I've used Fluid in a mix). There's lots of great stuff out there if you know where to look.
