  1. Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I wish I had a bass guitar. I'm not completely certain what you mean by "giving the guitar another look", though.
  2. ...and here I was thinking no one was dumb enough to actually fall for these kinds of things.
  3. Yeah, we pretty much determined this months and months ago. Really don't know why we're having this conversation again. Yup.
  4. If you collect and junction all the right spells, get the guardian forces, weapons. etc. Most bosses in Final Fantasy VIII die in just a few hits. Sad really. Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. Terrible game, but I remember that if you play as the chick from portrait of ruin and equip two items (I forget which two) it creates some sort of trade off between magic and health and you become completely invincible.
  5. Yeah, Scott McNeil is badass. I saw a commercial recently in which he voiced a leather sofa.
  6. With horror movie quotes! http://soundcloud.com/angelcityoutlaw/symphony-for-the-devil-rob I think I'm nailin' Rob's style pretty well so far. If I could get a killer rock vocalist, I'd like to expand it into a full song. Happy (almost) Halloween and any feedback you have, I'd love to hear!
  7. Better sounding built in samples. Pretty much it really.
  8. I just read this post now, did a google search. and OMFG! Playing classic Darkstalkers online in Darkstalkers Resurrection? And a fourth game at long last, even with shitty art style!? I'm excited as hell. Mainly because I have an unhealthy obsession with classic monster movies. So naturally, I love that Darkstalkers stuff. Seriously fucking hoping that they include "Trouble Man" at the end credits of at least one of the new releases.
  9. Metalheads fight constantly over what kind of metal a song is. "It's death metal! No it's melodic death metal! No it's power metal! No it's not! Yes it is!"
  10. Actually the reason is because fighting game fans, especially Marvel fans refuse to believe that there is even the faintest possibility that there could be a flaw or two with their favourite game(s) and simply being in disagreement with them makes you their enemy. Nothing anyone could say or do would sway their opinion and therefore all attempts to reason, argue or otherwise persuade are completely futile. That's why is immediately followed with
  11. Oh yeah, here's one not a soul will agree with me on but I thought it was pure crap compared to all of Capcom's other fighting games.
  12. Ninja. Gaiden. 3. Seriously, fuck that game. While I didn't think the previous games were that great, there is just no excuse for the absolute shit that is Ninja Gaiden 3. Where as the past two games were really just discs packed with needless, absurd difficulty causing more frustration than any game is worth, this new one was so laughably easy, repetitive and boring that I took it back to the store I rented it from the day after I rented it. I feel bad for everyone involved in that game's creation.
  13. This is my work in progress remaking metal tune I wrote four years back. http://soundcloud.com/angelcityoutlaw/metal-wip Doubt I will finish it.
  14. I was never into final fantasy, until about a month ago I found my old copy of VIII and started playing it. Now I'm absolutely hooked on the franchise and its music. So if I had a 3DS, I'd probably enjoy this game immensely.
  15. So I was reading about the recent "Century Media sues fucking everybody" fiasco, arrests of Pirate Bay crew, Gene Simmons' constant whining, independent artists like Nox Arcana blaming downloads and stuff for their obscurity and failures, and just last week, an article of Yngwie Malmsteen talking about how things were just so much better for musicians back in the day. Which lead me to discover this article. http://www.musicthinktank.com/blog/the-realities-of-making-a-living-with-music-in-2011.html It is a year old, but I thought it makes some great points. The comment section also has some good arguments. What do you people think about the article? Do you agree or disagree? Was there ever a "golden age" where musicians prospered financially? Etc....
