When I read the OP I was like "they're gonna make this a thing" when you explained how the first disc is east-something region, the second one is south etc.

It is strongly related to the video that's in the title of the thread. But yea, this place has pretty much turned out to be a playground for people who're protecting Anita from evil sexist men who even attempt to question her flawless videos and actions, to the point where every comment that isn't appraisal for her is getting WTF'd and bullshit'd on. That's really all I need to see. Turns out Anita herself wasn't the one with the thinnest skin after all.

But where did the 160k$ go?? With that amount, she could definitely so something a little more proactive than a "pop culture-critic" video series, where she does just that: critiques. I know quite a lot of people who can do that constantly without kickstarters. Yea, judge me as one of those sexist pigs for saying that. Then what weight does her video have? And what does it accomplish? I guess it's neat that someone dedicates so much time&money to point out some silly shit in games, but it's sort of... pointless. But as I said earlier, at least she got some money. So she definitely serves a market, as thunderf00t mentioned in his video. So it can't be totally garbage.

yea I saw a trailer for the console version which said that there'd be a new boss, weapons, armor etc. But my Friends and I are a little skeptical about the updates being anything major. 1 new boss sure is nice, but I'm afraid the new armor, for example, is just going to be a single set 1 tier higher that the hallowed armor, so it ultimately wouldn't add any depth to the game. Now what they should do IMO is add new freaking worlds which you could Access via portals, create like really hardcore enemies and creeps, put the good old capture the flag mode in there, design epic spells for the characters and massive weapons... Lol I'm just daydreaming now.

It would've been so easy to expand Terraria to the point it had at least the same amount of depth as minecraft, with a bigger emphasis on fighting and bosses, of course. Too bad, because as-is, it is enjoyable to play through once or twice, but the game just sort of stops at a certain point. There's nothing to be achieved or beat anymore. Lazy developers, I say.

I agree. But I did purposefully say that "makes it sound like", and that's kind of inevitable when one makes such a big deal about video game damsels. I didn't "make up" any argument- just voicing my own reasoning which, I admit, seems to be on a fairly simplistic level when compared to yours. I miserably fail to see the connection between sexism, oppressing women etc. and damsels of distress. But I guess you could over analyze anything... thunderf00t parodies just that in the video, "pop culture critic-ovision" part of it.

Well, I'm just glad someone took the time to deconstruct the video in a manner that can be comprehended, no complicated theories or arguments that make things as simple as platforming games sound like conspiracy theories or the root of all evil when it comes to sexism. In other words, sounds like common sense to me. For example, that's exactly what my simple brain thought when anita talked about the girlfriends in some games as being a prize to be won, a treasure to be found etc: "Or a loved one to be helped?" I was freaking pumped to save that girl in Double Dragon when I played it as a child! I wouldn't have believed that some people in the future will bother to tear shit like that apart to back up their conclusions/theories...

Album project directors have the final say on the matter. They usually personally invite some artists they want to have on the project. Then, most projects are opened to the public, and posted mixers are allowed to claim away songs without complications, and unposted artists such as you and myself have to audition to the directors and showcase their previous work, after which it will be determined whether or not they get to be a part of the album. That's the case for most projects, at least. Some are never opened to public. Hope that clarified things; feel free to ask if something was left in the dark.

I´m just so delighted to see everything worked out in the end. For a moment, it seemed pretty bad. Huge thanks to the staff for taking the reins and ensuring this great album gets a worthy release.
