Uh, you realize that English is not his first language, right? He's actually pretty good for a 14 year old posting on foreign language boards. I agree. Hell, as far as the internet's concerned he probably speaks better English than some English people do themselves I say we should only correct him if he says something really wrong, otherwise we can normally understand what he's trying to say so it's fine.

The music you've written is excellent, but the qaulity of production drags it down a lot. The stings sound fake and lifeless, and when everything comes together it's just like a blur of sound (I think it even clips?). It's good, but you need to work on that production stuff. I'd be more specific, but i'm in a bit of a hurry. Keep working at it though, other than production, it's good so far!

Kanjika - I love the latest version! The section at 2:04 is really cool, and I love the burst of energy at 2:15... it's really a beautiful thing ^^ The repetitive issue is completely gone now, so yeah. Very good work There's one other thing I meant to say earlier that i'll say now though. This is just a stupid little thing, and i'm probably the only one who thinks it, but yeah... the end sounds like it needs an extra "Da-Da!". Cause right now the final bar is just "Da-Da!" and then silence... It feels like there should be a second double-stab on the second and a half beat. Hell, you could have a third stabby thing on the 4th beat, it'd be like a triplet thingo. Yeah, i'm not good with musical terminology Ohwell, keep up the awesome work!

I've already told Kanjika how much I love his piece so far, but I just wanted to add something... You know that pattern on the end? I think it rocks Maybe you could have a break section in the middle of the song with that percussion and all? ~Hadyn

Incase anyone's interested, this was the latest version I got done before getting pissed off at how slow FL was running - http://66.221.70.133/hadyn/heads%20up%20for%20tails%203.mp3 Note that the new section is very... crap. Basically. The drums had barely been worked on, as with the piano. There's a lot of work to do there, really, but you can kind of get the idea as to what ideas i have in mind.

I'm quite impressed! Although It sounds like there's a bit too much reverb on it, and the EQ's a little muddy (need more high frequencies!). The trumpet also feels a little... "empty" when it plays the main theme, but everything else is just amazing! I LOVE IT. MAKE MORE. Infact, I love it so much that I don't think i'll bother taking on the sky sanctuary theme any more. I want your remix to be on the project. I might have to try another song instead, or maybe just stick to doing one remix... It's just become a bit of a pain, working on my final boss mix... I have close to 50 patterns, atleast 8 .wavs, over 20 effects channels, several instances of Sytrus, and for the new section I have three instances of edirol orchestral. What all of that adds up to is a VERY slow computer... and thus remixing becomes a little difficult. I might have to remove the orchestral section just so FL can run at a decent speed ^^; ~Hadyn

I'm sorry, but I don't think I can help. There's just such a big style gap between what i would do and what you have. I'll give you one tip for future remixing though - find a real life song that you like, then try to mimic that real song's style and sound when you're remixing. Having something there to steal ideas from is very helpful, and it helps you to achieve a kind of realisitc sound, as if your song is a real song - which is basically what remixing is about ^^ Good luck with your mix... So basically, remove everything other than the "borrowed" picture of Kirby, and it's great! Oh yeah, and Beatdrop - you forgot, "evil bevel and emboss"

My take: Something that shows progress, but not completed... My opinion is that it should atleast be a minute long to fully prove that you're really going somewhere with it.

Still haven't found a way to successfully extend my mix, and so i'm going to have a rest from it for a little bit. I'll think of something eventually, but i'll going to rest from it for a little while. In the mean time... I kind of want to give Sky Sanctuary a shot - I love that tune. Might have something done within the next few days (or maybe even hours - depends how I feel).

Awesome stuff Rayza! I have a few suggestions though... First of all, keep the water/bird soundeffects going until the full drums come in (maybe have them fade out slowly as the drums take over). As it is, it seemed they faded out too early and left a gap of emptyness. I like the synths, but they all seem kind of... Blunt. I'm not sure how to describe it, they just lack any real impact... Or something. Maybe add a tiny bit of distortion or somethng? I don't know... I could be completely wrong. I love what they play and everything, just the sound of them seems a little weak. Ohwell, can't wait to hear more - keep it up!

You shouldn't! I may be alright at photoshop, but for some strange reason i've never been able to draw kirby that well. Your work's great, I'd love to see what you come up with if you keep working on it ^^

Well, the S3&K project has better source material. And (I think) a larger portion of experienced remixers. Check the (YAY)'s . Heh, I don't think the (YAY)'s were such a great idea... It might make the other mixers feel a little less yay
