  1. Have you guys seen strat videos for any of the classes (like Spy)? As you play more you find out there's a lot more to the game than it might seem at first.
  2. On the other hand it doesn't physically hurt to look at TF2. Man, it's like Gamelor all over again...
  3. I have no idea who you have at the moment, but George totally needs to be Cid.
  4. If you like his stuff you can check out the stuff he has on VGmix and the Cave Story Remix Project.
  5. I think we've got Convoy, Labor, and Warpath, so if you ever want one of those just ask a slot-holder to put up a vote.
  6. You can remote into your PS3 over the Internet using your PSP, from anywhere you can get a wireless connection. You won't be able to play PS3 or PS2 content, but you can stream MP3s and videos, and depending on your connection might even get a decent framerate on PS1 games (assuming you get one with backwards compatibility).
  7. Because it saved you 5 years of painful waiting.
  8. Oh...yeah that would be a problem. I'd try just Googling "Verizon Pocket PC" until you find a picture that matches what you have.
  9. PSP has Disgaea too. SNES emulation is mediocre at best for the NDS. Again, if emulation is important to you, PSP is the way to go. Also flashcards have dropped in price significantly. If you're paying any more than $20 for anything not made by CycloDS, you're getting ripped off. And yes, Colors! is excellent. DSOrganize is a no-brainer as well - calendar, notepad, doodlepad, file browser, web browser, irc client, media player (even plays MODs and stuff), etc. Pretty much makes your DS a gimpy PocketPC. Nitrotracker is cool too; you can make samples with the built-in mic! That and/or Korg DS-10 might be something you'd find useful if you get musical ideas on the go often.
  10. Yeah even if you don't like any PSP games, if PS1 games and emulation are your bag, you'll want the PSP. Whereas with the DS you'll pretty much have to actually like the games and/or have a lot of friends you want to play with to justify getting one. There are some neat homebrew apps, so if you're interested in those we can help you with getting started in that regard too.
  11. ^ This. If you don't know which one has the games you prefer, just list what kind you like and we'll help you out. Of course the PS2 idea is good too, although if you have an HDTV they might not look so hot.
  12. Props for the Eddie Izzard references but did it have to be the one that's been done to, well...death? Will check this and the game out laters.
  13. Well depends on what you mean by "work well." Any 3-D game can be viewed in stereo, as shifting the camera angle for every frame is a pretty trivial operation. Nvidia's been doing this for a while with special shutter glasses, but it never caught on, especially since nowadays LCDs don't have a high enough refresh rate to support more than 30fps. This just might be enough for me to go Crossfire though.
  14. Wait, the demo's still open? Every time I try to start it up it says it's locked. :/
  15. Did you put everyone's points on your card again?

  17. Yeah I don't see why everyone doesn't own a $100 mic.
  18. Seriously prophet? You couldn't think of anything better?
  19. I know you already picked up the game, but I just wanted to mention that Fallout 3 is practically AD&D in 3D, so I dunno how much that would appeal to someone who's not that much of a gamer. Who knows though, it might open up new horizons for him.
  20. Wow guys, don't go spendin' all your Ourstage money in one place! Congratulations.
  21. I don't normally do this kinda thing, since this came out... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqQS5o4Khag ...I decided to give it a shot. http://dhsu.vgpiano.com/arranged/rinuma2.mp3 Sound quality is pretty bad since I couldn't be bothered to find the MP3s and just recorded YouTube music videos. Completely recorded and edited in Audacity.
  22. Er, why's this in WAV format? That said, this is actually a very nice arrangement, which is exactly what "ReMix" means at this site. You may have to work on making the transitions more elaborate, since it's seen as a negative if you just string themes together. Alternatively you could cut some themes out and develop the rest more thoroughly. Otherwise, I'd say this is pretty submittable. You'll have to render it to MP3 of course though (might have to use 160 or 128kbps to get it under 6MB). Do you have any other stuff, BTW? I'd be interested in hearing it.
