So...you're using a PC emulator to play a GBA game on your TV?
Here's what you need to play Mother 3 on your DS (like me ):
- DS flashcard (aka Slot-1) - These are usually for playing DS games, but in this case it's needed to load games onto your GBA expansion. Pretty much anything will work, but I wouldn't recommend the old R4DS as it's pretty obsolete at this point. A few sites I'd try: DealExtreme, RealHotStuff, Gameyeeeah, KickGaming.
- GBA expansion (aka Slot-2) - You can NOT play GBA games without this. There are no acceptable GBA emulators for DS, mainly because these exist. The most popular choices right now are the EZ Flash 3-in-1, M3 DS Real GBA Expansion Pack, and eWin Expansion Pak.
I use the 3-in-1 because, hey...it's 3 in 1 - it acts as a rumble pack, RAM expansion, and GBA flashcart. The other expansions just play GBA games. And there's a GBA-sized version if you have a DS phat or (in my case) want the option of playing it in a GBA or GBA Player.
You can get the M3 DS Real expansion by itself or bundled with its Slot-1 partner.
The eWin expansions are sold out everywhere I know of, but you can find the other two expansions at most of the stores I listed.
- Patched Mother 3 ROM - Duh.
- microSD card - This goes in your Slot-1. Put your ROM on here. Pretty much any Slot-1 flashcard will come with a USB adapter so don't worry about that.
- GBA ROM loader software - If you have a CycloDS Evo, this is built into the firmware. If you have an M3 DS Real, it will support the M3 DS Real GBA expansion natively. Similarly, the EZ Flash V has native support for the EZ Flash 3-in-1. Otherwise, Rudolph's GBA ExpLoader is what you want (no, it will not make your DS blow up). Download, extract, and put it on your microSD card. Regardless of what you have, what you do with the software will be the same: load Mother 3 onto your GBA expansion and run it.
And voila, easy 16 combos! All told, this will probably end up costing about the same (or less) it would to import Mother 3 (although you should do that anyway).
You can get a standalone GBA flashcart but it's generally not worth it IMO unless you don't have a DS in which case dude what is wrong with you. Although if that is the case, it might be easier to just pay someone to flash a 3-in-1 and send it to you.

I couldn't help but chuckle a little when this remix came up on Ormgas. It's pretty much just strings and drums!
Ah well, I guess it was at least something before all these other awesome Temple arrangements came out.

It seems when I pick random all the songs it picks are listed in alphabetical order. That's not very random.

Loved the King's Quest VI and Incredible Machine 2 soundtracks, so it didn't take me very long to find this site.

Can't you just buy the Pokemon TCG video game or something? That way you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on pieces of cardboard with stats on them. :/

Yeah that's what usually ends up happening to me too. Generally though I try to get out if I have more than 25% ubercharge, since from a tactical standpoint the time it took to build that up isn't really worth the extra second or two of healing. But there's definitely exceptions, of course, sometimes that extra second is all you need.

Haha dude there is no way you are the same person as Glitch.

What would be the appropriate thing to say here
Heywaitaminute that reminds me of something...
Seriously though, there needs to be some sort of achievement for being in the top 10 on the server while having a k:d lower than 0.3.
Edit: Oh looks like you brought it up a little with those pyro runs since the last time I checked.

I never got hazed, but that's probably because I'm kind of a big deal around here.

It's probably what they refer to around the office as the "panic button."

Wow, I switched out the earpieces on my E2c's to the orange foam thingies and the difference is INCREDIBLE. They sound and feel 10x better now. Awesome.

Dude Arek why is your FC not in the database you buttmunch.
-
Yeah, the one good thing about being single is that there's no one to give you grief about where you spend your money. My new graphics card and 23" widescreen monitor are proof of that.

Do RPGMaker games count?

Haha, you should ask Larry, he's the self-proclaimed OCR love guru. (Seriously though, his name is LARRY.)
I think it depends on the woman though. Some girls secretly like to be dominated (maybe that's why they play Medic ).

Mind posting a recording of your ensemble's performance, if one exists? Listening to the arrangement, I can definitely understand how they might've had difficulties playing it. The Zelda 1 dungeon section must have been *murder* on the marimbas. Very pretty Prelude of Light arrangement though.

BTW, atomicthumbs, just how "excellent-sounding" are these headphones? Like better than your average pair of $10 Sony or Koss headphones? I'm seeing them for like $10, so if they're as good as you say, I might pick up a pair.

If you're wanting to trade games, I'd suggest Goozex.

Headphones, earphones, earbuds, neurophones, bone-conduction headsets, etc.
I use Telex Model 610-44 educational headphones.
They have excellent sound, stay on my head well, and are almost impossible to damage.
The picture doesn't show it, but after I took it I superglued an Apple Microphone (circa 1991) to the side. Now it's an excellent-sounding, perfectly working headset. Also, all the parts (except for the glue) were free.
What do you use?
AWESOME.
I've got Shure E2c's currently, but I'm not too big a fan of the closed sound, and they hurt my ears, so I'm looking to get some good entry-level cans. No idea where to start though. Sennheiser, Grado, AKG, Sony, Koss...too many choices!

I've added you, GT, awaiting confirmation. If anyone else adds me, lemme know.

Exactly what Firewire stuff do you use that makes it so inconvenient to not have that port. Do you do a lot of video work or something?

I'll post my FC when I get home.

Man when I my eyes glazed over the title I thought you meant StarCraft MMO.
Nearly gave me a heart attack.
Don't know if it was a good heart attack or a bad one.
Haha, if you actually have any doubt that an SC MMO is coming out, you'd better get your aspirin ready.

That's the thing though, she should be getting at least 5-6 times that framerate even at that resolution. I mean, 10fps is something you'd expect from integrated graphics...I apologize if this sounds insulting, Gman, but is your card installed and updated with the latest drivers. And if so, is your monitor plugged into an output on the card instead of your motherboard?
Off topic, I've always been kinda curious about your Steam name. What's the story behind that?
Looking to liquidate my old Pokémon cards, need suggestions...

Haha, you just gave me the best mental picture.
"MY POKEYMANSSSS...LET ME SHOW YOU THEM...."
