You guys are CrAzY!!

Thanks for the kind words.
I agree about Kyle Landry, he's quite good. Google brought up this site.
-
Be sure to check out the related vid too.

Yeah, there wasn't much he could do to enforce quality control, he just wanted to get all the tracks covered one way or another.
Glad this is finally out though. Congrats to everyone involved!

This mix is deranged. I don't even know what to think about it...there are moments of genius and then there are sections that hover above being just barely tolerable (not just the fart noises). It really is the type of track you can't describe with words...you just have to experience it for yourself.

This would probably be the best gig ever if I didn't have a job.
And if I could do solos.

not everyone honors their privacy policy
In which case they get a lawsuit up the butt.

Those aren't original albums though.

They don't include the Steam installer on the disc, they just take you to their site to download it.
If you are concerned with privacy, you can play single-player games like HL2 in offline mode. You only need to log-in once to activate your game.

Huh.
So what's the difference between linking to the soundtrack of a Game Boy game and linking to the soundtrack of, say, a PS2 game? Or have we been allowed to do both this whole time?
Well technically it's still illegal, but typically Game Boy games don't have official soundtracks you can buy so there's no harm in sharing them. SPC sets, especially for popular games like FF VI or Chrono Trigger, are more of a gray area, but I'm guessing the worst that could happen would be a cease & desist. In the case of PSF/PSF2/USF sets, you run into bandwidth and space issues on top of the fact that the list of ripped games is much less complete and that a lot of the ones that are ripped have commercial soundtracks.

OCR actually hosts GBS archives, but since nobody's remixed Crystal yet it's not in the database. You can get it here though - http://snesmusic.org/hoot/gbs/
You can download the WinAmp plugin here - http://nezplug.sourceforge.net/
-
Or you could do both like Wendy Carlos.

Not to be outdone by Deviant Art:
This is also fantastic (assuming it's you).
Apparently me and Brushfire make a really good team. Last night we killed EVERYONE.

Shael Riley and his band The Grammar Club have albums free for download.
Shnabubula's Controller 1 is highly recommended as well.
You can purchase albums from SGX and Siamey from the same place you got One Day Millenium - http://www.protagonistrecords.net/
binster's "Abandoned" is available here.
-
That is fantastic.

The pads in the background make it sound a little muddy and the brass might not be the most realistic, but otherwise this is a great track that still holds up today. Reel big thumbs up!

More like vgSUXpo ohhhhh!
Just kidding, I'm sure the PA event is magnitudes better than the sad showing they had in Dallas years ago.

I rove this rong time.

Ha, ditto on the video (sans putting it on my iPod since I don't have one ). Truly a man of many talents!
Anyway, EgM's stuff is always on the conservative side, but I think the source is served well in this arrangement. The slower pace gives it an almost meditative quality...it actually reminds me of Schala's theme in some aspects. Love the contrast between the electric guitar and acoustic sections.
The length didn't bother me significantly, but I can't say I wouldn't have appreciated more.

Lovin' this. I'm convinced Sixto is a cyborg, judging by how amazingly clean the playing is.
Nice Audiosurf vid too.

So good. Someone needs to kidnap tefnek and make him submit another ReMix.
-
This track comes up often on Ormgas, but it always seems like a gimmick arrangement to me. A key change and some drums do not a good ReMix make.

Smooth, sweet stuff. Great bedtime music (take that how you will ).

Hahaha, that sounds incredible, but would probably lead to even more stalemates than usual.
