  1. Nothing but pure fun. Chippy textures, catchy beats, some nice synths and... beatboxing. That was unexpected, yet so pleasant. Maybe it's repeatative a bit, but I'm never tired of it. The amount of energy is just endless. Oh, forgot to mention, bass is suberb. <3
  2. Man, I love this so much! I also like how ethnic-influenced intro evolves into something pretty house-y. And when I heard how the piece slows down and the bass becomes grittier and robotic voice says "halc" and thet "AnSo", I was totally blown away. Awesome relaxing track.
  3. Ah, so classic. Awesome usage of SFX here. Love how Steve combined dreamy atmosphere with some funky gritty synths. Cool beat as well. Sweet piece!
  4. Solid work. It has a lot of crazy and wild energy. The breakbeats are so damn powerful. And, of course, the sax is a nice touch. One of my favorites from the album.
  5. First SA2 ReMix in... 10 years???? Are you kidding me? Anyway, this is just awesome. Spooky, yet groovy, fitting for a Halloween party. Good work, guys!
  6. Ah, a typical XPRTNovice mix with some whistling, clarintet and acoustic guitar. Love how greatly all samples are used here. Most of all the train samples. They create very nice rhythm, accompanied by killer jazz instrumentation, for sure. Cool!
  7. Minbadass? Megabadass! Super funky, with a lot of tension and energy, this is easily one of my favorite ReMixes. It definetily has recognizable style of Mr. Baranowsky, it has a lot of similiarities with some of Super Meat Boy tunes, which was released a year later. I especially love the section at 1:43. Mean, funky, but very good!
  8. I dig this a lot. It has a nice beat, but it's not very hard-hitting. Accompanied by sweet jazzy synths and glassy vibraphone, this is very soft and relaxing. Awesome!
  9. This is so energetic, so crazy! I just can say that I love this a lot.
  10. This is so charming. If you know what is the final cave like, you understand how awesome this sounds after some fucking difficulties. Doug and his mother just nailed this feeling of... calm after the storm (or something like this ) This is very emotive arrangement. Drums feel so soft and bass is pretty good too. But live instruments like viola, violin and flute made it a bit more than perefct. Great work!

  12. Anyway, I had lovely time there. I haven't seen my friends since I scalded my leg, so I was glad to meet them. And, sure, there are a lot of other compos to take part in :)

  13. Duh... My team took 4th place on that compo :( Like your track almost passed judges panel, my team almost passed the lowest border of solved problems, that are enough to take at least 3rd place :D

  14. This is both very goofy and creative. Really. I hear more softer choruses like something from TV programm for the very small children. I dunno why. But hell, this too damn catchy. All kinds of bonus points for those great dialogues, Gimmie choruses and awesome almost-like-live drums. Defenitely a travelling song
  15. So, trance is suppose to be repeatitive, right? Well, even is this is so, I never got bored of this one. Love the transition at 1:12 that makes this mix more variable and also give some time to gain energy for next, groovy section. I don't like how the source sounds. But this is solid hard-hitting action, that's japanese-flavored as well. BTW, dat bass is cool.
  16. Even now, this is one of my favorite Darke's pieces. Seriously, this is nice atmospheric stuff with pretty warm sax, soft piano and delicious percussion. Love the fast-paced section at 2:04. It gives this alredy "warm" mix some more coolness. Super!
  17. One of my favorits from the album. It's just perfect to listen to on a rainy day. Nice atmosphere overall. That chorus-y thing is smooth. Drumming is tight. Some may found this repetitive a bit, but it works for me. Quite detailed thing. Love this.
  18. Progus Bunansa is awesome :) But I'm not just enjoying it. It also gave name for my team on programming compo. Lol. I hope this is ok :P

  19. This is what I call super-duper smooth. Awesome sad piano intro. And then bump. Oh yeah... Though, I don't like that abrasive section at the end. Outro is lovely <3 And yeah, I prefer this version to the original.
  20. Damn, this is sliiick bassline. Very pleasant toe-tapping head-bopping tune. Love the moment at 2:08. While this freakin' sweet tune had aleady taken over me by this time, this part makes it even more better. Like, 150% better. Cool thing.
  21. Holy shit! This just struck (get it?) me by its enegy. Chiptune + wild drums + orchestra + live violin? Hell yes! It definitely has stormy mood. So damn great mood! I like how it slows down at 2:10 to return back with its energetic flow. I love this a lot.
  22. Sir J FTW! This wasn't the first time I head about Jordan, so I definitely knew it would be something creatively crazy and very enjoyable. And I was right. His vocals just took over me. And then a big splash came! Head-bopping beats, vivid brass, smart synths, and just plenty of funk elements! Now whenever I hear Hornet Man tune, I hear this song. So damn catchy!
  23. Pretty nice take on the original. Sir J's way seems more obvious, but I like this one a lot too. Awesome breakbit + choir intro. And then boom! It's like something heavy dropping on your head. It always facinates me how Mike nailes the combination of great guitar playing and kicking elecronic beats, which works only in a good way. Synth solo at 3:58 is killer. Strong stuff!
  24. Very chill. I've always been big fan of such arrangments. The intro is just so good. Both pianos and a lot of synths give this mix some cold, glassy vibe. Hip-hop elements like sctratch and vocal clips are spot-on as well. Man, this is so smooooth.

That's only few I can advise, that aren't listed in thred, created by Mr. Oji.
