  1. Actually, I still haven't recieved any news from begoma... It will be sad if he sends nothing until the deadline, cuz his track from TD is so damn awesome and I'd really love to have him on board of this project.
  2. So, you see "Aquatic Ambience" and think "Duh... Another mix of this tune..." But you don't expect to hear this - a dynamic, cinematic arrangement that (despite its length) is pure mind-blowing goodness. It's just so awesome, so amazing, so beautiful, so great - I can't describe how much I love this. The combination of pulsing bass, quiet piano-assisted sections and more powerful ones works greatly. My favorite section is 1:42-2:22 <3 Though, it doesn't remind me any heroic theme, it sounds more like a tune for a storm: both dark and light, intensive and so dramatic.
  3. Robbie (AkumajoBelmont) joined us once again, this time claiming Work It Out from Sonic R
  4. Since I've been recieving some WiPs, I need someone who can give detailed feedback :0 I also try to give some feedback, but more feedback is better, isn't it? So if you're interested in helping, PM me. P.S. I've got 5 WiPs so far. Thanks for being active and punctual!
  5. As some people noticed, this one has some weird room sound. Though, to me it's sound of some old-school films. The sax sounds really sexy. And the percussion work is just gorgeous. I didn't like this mix when I heard it at first, but now I love this piece. It's very smooth and very relaxing. Cool, chillin' take on the quite groovy and funky original.
  6. This one is classic. Mr. Paulsen took the ReMixed-to-death source and made a very groovy and very fresh mix! The meaty beat combined with funky synth works perfectly. It's just perfect club music. Love it.
  7. I love how you, guys, managed to turn simple Merlina's Theme (which was actually few chords played on the piano) into something more solid. The piano, strings and of course the bells make this track so emotional. They create the winter-ish mood as well. Outstanding work.
  8. Will not obtain... Ahem, sorry. So this remix clearly shows that Brent has some mixes that are less odd and more melodic than his latest works. The idea to blend ambient textures with some excellent shreddage, toe-tapping electronica and minimalist vocals is surely neat. The whole piece sounds really complex. Ok, let's be honest - 27 x "Will not obtain" = pure win. I love how the same phrase repeats, while the musical background itself changes several times. The drop at 3:25 is awesome. It's like you're flying through the outer space. So great!
  9. This is why I love this album: the style of tracks varies from hard-hitting electronica to tropics-inspired juicy goodness. Right from the intro I was hooked by the gritty bass and synth, later accompanied by heavy drums. And when and kinda speeds up at 0:57 and then it explodes with energy, my mind was blown away. I love the second "chorus" more, though. While it may be repeatitive a bit and liberal as well, I love this to death. This is one of the best tracks representing the "dark" side of the album. Awesome work, guys!
  10. But Soviet Russia doesn't exist nowdays Anyways, this is so damn cool, certainly the most hard-hitting Tetris ReMix ever. And this is also my most favorite mix from the album. Big beats, funky bass synth, along with easily recognizable melody make this track very enjoyable. Love the mix title as well. Great work, Mr. Molina!
  11. Well, this one is certainly weird. Actually, it took several times to find out what the heck is going on here. At first, I found it not quite fascinating and I was thinking "WTF? How could this pass the judges panel?" But every new listen made this sounding more melodic and I started to love the subtle piano licks, choir, industrial percssion, guitars blended with dark ambient textures and of course the heavy atmosphere of this one, which becomes heavier with each second. And the it suddenly explodes and drops. Wow. Super creative thing.
  12. I think I would be nice for you, guys and gals, to know my email, just in case: stepsud@yandex.ru P.S One week left until the first deadline...
  13. Sir J is an awesome dude, didn't you know it? While this piece isn't so funky and energetic as most of his works, it's a brilliant one. It starts off with silky Rhodes and chiptune and some cool whistling, which sets the perfect mood. And when I got enough chills, it suddenly kicks up at 2:19, blending in sweet drums and reversed (!) guitars and a lot of some odd sounds, and I... cried. I've already said that I'm quite sentimental guy, so yeah... That drop is 4:33 is also nice. So, all in all, this is a very moody piece. Great stuff.
  14. This one is a true work of art. Starting off with something mellow and dreamy, it transforms several times, being very dramatic. I love every second of this piece. But I love that moment at 1:19 most of all. It sounds both playful and melancholic. Super awesome!
  15. Djp, this track is tagged incorrectly. Tweex is not listed as an artist. Fix this, please.
  16. Mmm, so sweeet... The blend of low trumpet, ethreal flute and all guitar sounds so gorgeous. This music is perfect for a walk in forest on one those bright autumn days, when the leaves are yellow and orange and red and the sun shines humbly through light clouds and the slightly cold wind blows. Excellent!
  17. This was created only with basic plugins and basic samples? I would never believe it! This is a true masterpiece. Very good tune to jam to. The combination of glitching stuff, some badass chippy synth and great EDM percussion works wonderfully here, making this piece one of my favoritre SM64 ReMixes ever.
  18. Haha, what an awesome song! I clearly hear some little differences between this one and SZRC version. But screw it! Who doesn't like powerful, driving songs like this one? And that moment at 1:52 is fucking awesome! This is not usual Flexstyle, but still a freakin' good one. Oh, there's OCU. Well, that's even better!
  19. Don't even try to disappear! The first deadline is approaching, :)

  20. Oh, cool. Good luck then Also, I've gotta warn some of you: on January 2nd I'm going to Belarus for about ten days, so you'll get the feedback later after the WiP date.
  21. Your PM box is full. Just sayin'

  22. Another EDM ReMix that doesn't make me dance. It makes me think. It makes me think about something sad, something gloomy... The piano here sometimes sounds out of place, yet atmospheric. The glitching transition which leads to solo piano part works nice. I also like how it picks up back again after that ethreal drop. Stylistically, it reminds me Palp's Twilight of Ivory - both have slick beat, glassy piano licks, some excellent bass & synth, both have the same mood and both are worth checking out
