My original WIP for Dixie Beat was posted to ThaSauce recently, you can find it here: http://remix.thasauce.net/song/RTS0322/ I forget how long ago I sent that to them and I probably thought it wouldn't get posted until the album was out. This is my personal favorite version of the song (even though it's 90% different than the album version) because it has live drums by me, is much slower, and had some performances that were not able to be replicated.. It's not a DKC3 album song but it's an interesting look at the very first (100% live) version of my song, missing a considerable chunk that ended up being in the album version, so.. yeah. :3

If you've ever been around OC ReMix for any of the previous album releases, you'll know they usually release a trailer a week or two in advance of the album release.

I think Disney will be true to Star Wars like they were to The Avengers and the Marvel properties and that'll probably be better than whatever Lucasfilm would have done, sounds bad but it's probably true. :/

Do a Final Fantasy 8 or X album and you can count me in.

For the ULTRA-Lazy, I'm happy to announce the new Wintersun album is now available on Spotify. Seriously, album of the year. Now there's no excuse to not check it out.

G4 shouldn't be a TV channel, it's as simple as that. Back when they had The Screen Savers and Electric Playground MAYBE, that was some good stuff then. But basically the channel became: Coverage for E3 (which is what, a week? And is covered better / more thoroughly on Youtube) That leaves the majority of the rest of the year where they spam repeats of Cops and Ninja Warrior which was just dumb. They had a distinct lack of content on the channel. Now without their 2 main shows I can't foresee anything but the entire channel being liquidated.

It can't be released this year and I don't really think unfinished songs are holding anything up. You'd have to be intimately familiar with OCR's schedule to be able to determine whether something is holding something up or not. There's a good handful of albums past evaluation just waiting to come out so enjoy those... it wouldn't exactly be fair to skip the line if this thing became 100% done soon, would it?

It's pretty darn close and this album has not taken as long as some other albums... not that it's a contest... I think Fishy is doing a good job of getting the essential tracks covered and I am glad he is still holding out to get these last songs in and giving a bit more time. This is going to be the definitive FF9 album and any extra time will definitely be worth it.
