Demon hunter with about 16k hp and 18k dps, low resistances, how do you get them? I've been focusing on dps. I can get 33k hp and considerably less dps, but hp is irrelevant when you die in 1 hit...

Not to sound like a broken record, but why have 2 different names anyway? "Brad Burr for the professional work, prophetik for remixes"... Your remixes seem pretty professional to me. You may not get paid for them though. And Brad Burr rolls right off the tongue, literally.

Zircon toured with Chthonic, who actually blew up to be a pretty huge band, their Takasago Army was my album of the year 2011. But yeah, maybe I should go out and trademark ReMix and be all like "YO YOU GUYS NEED TO CHANGE UR NAME!" It's just not a cool thing to do. Especially if the other people have been using the name first. The obvious and ethical solution to these issues is for the people who chose names that are already being used, to pick a new name. It probably won't be easy -- especially with all those business cards you printed up -- but it's the right thing to do, and in the end, you'll get better recognition, and won't have people saying, "Oh, I thought you were a hipster clothing store." The Prophet of Mephisto was a bitchin' name and it's just begging for you to get in it again!

Agreed. It's like what happened to Rhapsody (of Fire). Stupid Real Player came around with a new product called Rhapsody and was like HEY LET'S TELL THEM TO CHANGE THEIR NAME OR FACE THE LAW! Then, I can guarantee you, 100% of Rhapsody fans boycotted the product, and continued to hate RealPlayer (because seriously, 99% of the population hates RealPlayer, the other 1% is young girls who don't know any better.) The story would undoubtedly go on Blabbermouth, then people who hadn't even heard of the Zircon metal band would hear about it. So I dunno.

Sure, they don't "have" to, but in the end it probably would have severely increased the quality of their album, considering people would know if their song was received.. and could take the necessary actions to re-send it if they knew it wasn't. I'm not talking about me. But the John Petrucci or Prince of Darkness out there who made a badass bitching song for this, or even BONKERS-esque individuals for that matter.

A lot of the stuff the guy is stuck replying to people is stuff that should be public knowledge, and everyone should have gotten a confirmation when they submitted their song. But yeah, I thought the guy was cool. And it does feel better knowing they never received my song, rather than they received it and it lost.

Ok, then take it to court. :-/

It sucks that it's happening to Brad but I mean, come on, people need to fight for their trademarks and their property. It's not like they just formed yesterday and tried to legally take your name, like what happened to Rhapsody / Rhapsody of Fire because they failed to trademark their name. They've had the trademark for 14 years and they've probably for a long time. They aren't doing something wrong just to be nefarious, and spelling "out" instead of "our" does not make their lawyer incompetent. You'll see their real competency if this heads to court, but hopefully it won't have to go that far. Prophet of Mephisto WAS the bee's tits, and the owner DID say that prophetic would have been fine. If you change to prophetik music, you're really not satisfying anything. Also: chthonic changed his name. Zircon has yet to change his.

Believe it! People have been liking OCR on Facebook a lot, so it appears like this campaign will be a complete success! I wouldn't be surprised if we find out more information sometime in the near future about this album. //the april fools joke that never quit
