  1. This guy wants something unusual that will make him laugh. The obvious answer is to hire Warwick Davis to host a party for him.
  2. I wanted to upgrade my Mistaken Love remix for modern times but the hard drive I had it on doesn't work. So it is lost.
  3. I did have Star-Stealing Girl on my list for Chrono Cross. Also wanted to do the Ending Theme from FFX which involves To Zanarkand, so that works out. A Sign of Hope was ALSO on my list to do. Pokemon is gay.

So I could probably say at least those ones will prolly get done in the future ^^

Then again I'll check out the pokemon music and see if I dig it. The music is very non-gay. :-)

  4. Liar, we're all obviously voting for death metal because it's the greatest.
  5. I dunno why you interpreted restrictions from what I was saying, I thought I was expressing the opposite. Encouraging the differences artists bring to the table. o.O
  6. I can understand wanting coherence between songs but when you're making a community album, the point is to have everyone's unique vision and sound of their work. That's how I feel anyway. Even if every song was orchestral or something of that nature, they'd still use different samples and levels of articulation, and volume. I just feel like if you're going for coherence in that way you should do it yourself, if you're making a community thing then you should embrace everyone's differences and strengths.
  7. Man the point is today is all like CYBER MONDAY and they're STEAM, the KINGS of CYBER.. and no deals. It's sad. For everyone involved.
  8. So disappoint I get on there expecting it to be like "epic cyber monday sale" but instead it's all like "autumn sale ends in 10 minutes"... totally anticlimactic.
  9. Hey. It's very over-compressed. The choir is louder than the accompaniment. A sense of rhythm and structure seems to be somewhat abandoned in this, and it seems a bit messy as a result of that and the overcompression. And it is somewhat of a straight cover. Off to a good start here though.
  10. I expected that article to have a quote from DarkeSword saying that he approves.
  11. Is this really the last day of sales? Weren't they going to have all of the heavily discounted company bundles? And tomorrow's cyber monday isn't it?
  12. An OCR Panel? Without Larry's booming vocals? You better get him on backing tracks or that thang is gonna flop harder than a fish.
  13. I'm really liking the whole Badbutt concept. I hope it's not too late to make the necessary fixes. Looking back on this my part in album, I think my song for it was one of the first remixes of mine that I passed here on my own (may have been Ethnic Rush, not completely sure). But it's a very old one from a time when I didn't have many mixes done and wasn't on more than 1 or 2 projects, including this'n. It really hasn't been all that long time-wise and I still think the song is very strong but you can hear how I have improved as a musician even just over this couple of years. People will hate my song anyways due to growls so ehehe... aight. But being a part of this album was incredible and I'm so excited for it, and that's part of why I want to do a couple tunes for Volume 2. Badbutt is like Welch's, it's a jam you can get behind and ain't no mother's smuckers. Probably many typos abound but finding it hard to find and fix them, probably why I made them to begin with.
  14. It'd probably take 2 years or more to make a good ff6 album.
  15. I use a combination of both, I always start with recording live bits with a midi keyboard, but then like even for "She's a Squirter", I was clicking in extra notes for the bassline and some of the leads, to get them glitchy and chirpy in some places. No clicking in for Liquid Metal though. :3
  16. Hehehe While we're on the topic of Dragon Warrior... http://ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=26229 I agree that some mixers who can should sign on and help get it going
  17. I totally want the FEAR franchise... but I bought too many little games as it is.. :'( A bunch of $3 games adds up
  18. I got Limbo and two copies of Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Because the Splinter Cell thing is actually a "franchise sale", so they're all marked down and there's a pack. Also, I highly recommend Rage... it's great!
  19. I don't think community support would be that much of an issue for FF6. And I wouldn't see it as ff6 "taking artists away from other projects" so much as enabling artists to work on something they want to work on... Maybe they just don't want to remix Dragon Warrior because the sources are too difficult to remix Hehe... It's not that some bigger project is taking them away from DW. And as far as I could tell the biggest bulk of the OCR projects has been completed and is either in evaluation or is evaluated. Albums like DKC3, Maverick Rising, Wild Arms, Milkyway Wishes, BadAss. And projects like FF9, Unsung Heroes, and Super Mario 64 have deadlines set for December or January. It's true some of the smaller projects are struggling and I'm not sure why. A project like Dragon Warrior deserves to have a lot of mixers on it and doesn't, for years, but then Bahamut starts a project every other week () and they get a lot of claims pretty quick. All I can conclude is that it probably does have to do with the melodicness of the sources or how easy they would be to remix, but maybe there's some other thing that goes into it. Maybe the people running smaller projects don't have enough community reputation (good or bad) to get those kinds of claims. *shrug* I know when I was running FF9 that I was pressured into giving the album away by prolific mixers who wouldn't join the project unless it was run by someone more popular. So there is a popularity contest aspect to it rather than being all about the music.
  20. Funny story, the 'spoken' part (gimpy little fins) was me but with a Infomercial preset in Izotope Nectar... so that made it adequately silly. Here's the lyrics cause why not: MegaMan: Beneath the ocean lies a special dame. She'll introduce you to a world of pain. MegaMan & Splash Woman: This little mermaid's not afraid of war. Your broken body will soon drift ashore. MegaMan & Splash Woman: Her power over fish is without doubt. She'll slap you around a bit with the largest trout. Mr X: But I bet you can't play guitar like THIS with those gimpy little fins! Yeah! Ha ha ha ha ha ha! Splash Woman: I'm here to set things straight, I'm a fish I bet you wish you'd ate. You'll be the one that smells like sushi when I shove my trident up your caboosey. MegaMan: I could go for a fish buffet, or I could trap you in my bidet. I've got an aquarium full of fear - I'll lock you in there and I'll fill it with beer. All: One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish
  21. I guess I am your secret santa since literally no other person, not even Bahamut, acknowledged that I posted in the thread. XD

Just tell me what game, what source, genre... then later you can name the song and do the write-up for it for OCR.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to make it before Christmas. Maybe. :Z

  22. I loved this Wily theme. It was another one that worked perfectly with Splash Woman, and metal. >:]
