Congrats on getting your track to WIP 3, Star!
-
Nika, can you also update the WIP spread sheet as well?
Thanks in advance,
ALSO: Should we we ask Fred Phonx to join us? Have you ever HEARD what he's done with "Space Amanda?" Or "Venom"?
He's a real nice guy.
Even told me what the notes are for part of Ep. 2's opening theme.

I think an N64 or PS1 *style* expansion (maybe SAC 2?) would be cool, much like how we approached SNES. Licensing is also more of a possibility given that the publishers involved in that era are more likely to be around. I get what you're talking about - sounds that are real-ish but still fake... kind of. It's charming!
But in terms of immediate plans, retro PC systems are next in line

Had a McRib once.
Didn't get why people like them so much.
Now, a Bic Mac, however....
I. LOVE. THEM.
-
I say yes.
Even though the N64's midi samples aren't the best out there.
-
Do all of these work with FLS?

Only game I want this year is the one I'm working on.
Which is....?

You can now pre order Breath of the Wild.
Yooka-Laylee was canceled for Wii U due to hardware problems, Steam version will be $40.
-
AND PREPARE TO SCRAMBLE!
I can do something for art, if you guys are interested...
Don't know what, yet.

Good morning!
I worked on this from near 3:00 P.M. to around 9:30 pm almost non-stop last night
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1cNg5GTkCUIc1NpNEpLaW1ocGs
80's "Synthbeat" verson of Clipped Wings had landed.
I added A LOT of stuff, tried to combine the other two version with this one
Even went and used the beginning synth for the current version through-out the song
tempo changes all over the place, too
tried to get everything equal, seems to be okay
you might want to lower your volume for the start, though
Classic, you're going to be super happy when you realized how I tied Clipped Wings with SCRAMBLE...
It's at the very end, though.
Redid the arps a bit at the end, too.
Review, please!
This might be my best track yet!

Sorry for the double post, but I plan on making a MEGA MIX for Clipped Wings
Using Super Audio Cart
Will the price be lower than 150 before Christmas?
I can use it in FLS due to it supporting Kontact 5.
It shall be awesome.
Also, is anyone else planning on using SAC in their mixes?

Gonna try to have a WIP today of some stuff I wanna do on Records!
@Thirdkoopa are you by chance opening up the track for instrumental solos? I'd like to take a crack at one if you're considering the opportunity!
Thanks, Pichu!
Nika, I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to drop Meteor and Staff Roll.
If anyone else wants to do them, then go ahead.
Also, I've come up with yet another version of "Clipped Wings"
I might try to mix together that first rock version, the current "Synthwave" version, and a "Synthbeat" version.
Synthbeat version includes more tempo changes from the Synthwave version, and is composed using only Harmless, Harmor, some drum loops, and Firebird so far.
Tempo starts at 73 and is currently at 130.
Again, I might mix the three versions together, and also remake "Scramble" a bit.
Will try to post something on new version tonight.
This does not mean to change the WIP, just putting ideas out there for now.
If anyone needs piano, go ahead and tell me!

Thanks for the early feedback! Funny thing about the drums. I actually had more variations in earlier versions but stripped them down due to some issues, so I may sprinkle them back into the mix around the second repitition (which I wanted to change the melody there to make it a tad more unique anyways.)
Also, @M_Blacki it's not just you, the drum kick is a little weak. that's already on my list of next wave of revisions.
I would also fix the drums, just don't let them "overpower" the other instruments, like I've been prone to do...
-
ATTENTION:
As you may or may not know, I am still in school.
This means that, yes, I have finals starting next Friday.
I might not to get to work on anything until the 22nd...
Cause studying/tests/whatever.

Are Space Credits and Rupees excepted?

And did that stop @TheChargingRhino?
Okay, I'll stop picking on you. I do appreciate you taking a step back to allow other Remixers to participate, DS, but you CAN contribute if you wish. We can worry about who gets credit for what once the track is finished.
Speaking of TheChargingRhino, would she be allowed to participate in the Boss B track you're doing, @Starphoenix? She's looking for someone to collab with.
I'm going to be in the school music talent show in April (Live from GRAFF), so I CAN record piano.
I'm up to it.
Nika- Put me on the live instrument thing.
-
Hello. Anyone else want to collab on something?
Anyone?

Just once, interesting choices for the new instruments, sounds a little like Alone from the Saga Frontier OST.
I'll give it a proper listen tonight.
Okay, thanks.

Thanks.
Have you had a chance to listen to my revised original WIP yet?

Of course you can join! @TheChargingRhino has given you a pretty good run-down of what we're up to - and yes, you can certainly claim Space Armada.
The tracklist is on the first page of the thread, but to save you a click, we have six tracks left open:
- Title Theme or Great Fox Theme
- Sargasso Space Zone (or a Boss Theme)
- Fichina
- The Awesome Black Hole (with Map Select, hopefully)
- Space Armada
- Out of this Dimension
Check out the Project Overview if you want to hear source tracks or see where we're at. In the meantime, I'll put you down for Space Armada; let me know if you decide to go with something else.
Welcome aboard!
It's like PaRappa the Rapper says - you just gotta believe!
Thanks for rolling out the welcome mat again, Rhino.
This will take some work, as I'll have to copy everything over from the Box, update all the new links on the WIP page, then work out of two accounts every time I have an update.
I can do that, but it may take me a couple of days to get to. I will advise when I've got it done. PM me if there's anything specific you'd like to listen to in the meantime and I'll see what can be done.

@CrimsonCobalt and @Etzaen has given the OK for their WIPs to be posted! Check them out and let us know what you think!
Thanks.
Thanks again.
What I'd most like to listen to is the Venom track.
Thanks in advance.
-
Nika, can you also add Google Drive links as well?
Since my school laptop seems to not like appbox...
Got to listen to "Lylay Legacy", though.
Love that Mass Effect synth and stuff.

Is it too late for me to join. I have an eccentric style and am very passionate about music. I was curious which tracks are left and if any of them would be recommended. I was thinking "Space Armada" myself but I'm open to requests.
You were right, Nika!
Can't speak for Nika, but I'll welcome you just the same.
Nika and I had a small discussion about Space Armada around two days ago.
I'll be doing a bonus track of it.
No, you won't have competition.
Because if your claim is verified, you'll be doing the track for Disc Two.
I'll be doing the track for the Bonus Disc.
Again, welcome.
We are also working on a HUGE Andross collab at the moment.
Yes, this means EVERYONE on the project.
Including you, if you wish.

Personally, I prefer the ai-electronic version. Just briefly listening through, I can already hear a couple different ways you can take that track and improvise. Choose whichever you feel.
How can I improvise?
Please tell me, Star.

Hey, everyone, I've got an idea.
So, I'm the one that started the "Pieces of Courage" Project a while back (I still haven't finished a few tracks oh nooooo....)
and I was wondering if I could do a SNES Star Fox Project.
No remixes, just straight up covers.
Going to call it "SCRAMBLE"
if you guys are okay with this.
Thanks in advance.
When I get the thread made, I'll edit this post and link the thread here.
