Was a recent MnP compo that I got really into and I'm thinking I'm invested enough where I might wanna submit this after I give it some more polish. I've never worked with this kinda track before and I'm definitely lost in terms of what may need eq there or compression here . Some balance issues I'm aware of here and there though. A few spots specifically with the vox are a bit out of wack...
On the creative side the big build up with the riser doesn't end as powerfully as I want. I tried a few effects to cap it off but nothing makes me go "Ooh!" One idea I have though is to use some stock supercar engine rev and acceleration samples so that it gives that launching from the start line type feeling.

I think I'll try my hand at this. Though I can't really say for sure if I'll be that original...

I'm not familiar with the source tune so I mostly view it as a track in and of itself and I am really into it. Really good use of movement spacially and you gotta love that oboe. I am especially a fan of the journey it takes you on while still keeping you centered around a theme. Wonderful work and I'm glad I got to hear it!

Very warm sound. Wasn't expecting that! Feels like a blanket

Back in the day Home Studio had a notation/piano key input mode. I loved it because it allowed me to lay down some things I was not well equipped to do live or in piano roll. I know sheet music. And on the road.
I hoping to figure how to import notation tracks from composing software into the DAW
Export them as midis. Most composition software should be able to do that with varying degrees of success.

Oh nawwww this goes EXTRA hard. Awesome job y'all! I initially didn't recognize the source in the track but kinda didn't care haha. Then I went and listened to the source and still didn't recognize the song . I think it was from an FMV during Lunatic Pandora I guess....anyway, neither here nor there! You guys killed it.

Thanks for the info, I'll see what sparks my interest!

If I was to choose a track to work on when would you need a WIP submitted by?

I liked the approach here. Good job! Definitely one of my favorites from the game.

I really adored this. There was a lot of inspirational moments and I was really caught up in the baseline and percussion. There was just so much to enjoy and think about. Thanks for the tune and bringing more of your creativity and fun into the music world!

Alas inspiration has failed me T__T

I think....this is the final product or close to it. I am very happy with the nature of the track in terms of progression, direction, and sound profile. Maybe there is something production wise I'm missing in terms of the technical aspects but from a creative point of view, this is it for me I think. Ready for one more review

Beautiful interpretation. Strawberry is quite apt!
