Not seein whats so special about this. I know at least 2 people who could improv and record this song in one take and be done in 5 minutes. That is to say, I'm not seeing why this is anything more than a minimal guitar transcript + completely random improv. Rather obvious NO.

this gets a yes for the birdcussion. Yea, I have a softspot for birdies. Oh wait.. this song is simple and repetitive. Percussion is rather simple and boring. More importantly, it doesn't use the birds as percussion elements, which really ticks me off. I mean, you really had my hopes up. Just not cool. NO Go for more of a rearrangement, and get better at percussion and variation

Liontamer is right. Production values are rather bad. Namely guitar recording, percussion skill, progression. Lots of random-ish ideas. I get the feeling of 'ok, now this part, ok, now this part, ok, now this part'. Just keep at it. Work on recording and mastering. NO

The thing about drumloops is, how good would your song be without them? Yea... So this is a psudo-rearrangement of the hardman theme. Frankly I'd rather listen to the original. The notation in the remix is simply not as solid as the original was. So yea, thats basically my problem. The sequencing isnt very well done. Beyond that, the samples and synths are pretty down there in the quality scale. Everything is rough and unpolished. NO

Song gets pretty interesting later on. Lots of very cool ideas at 4:00 and onward, just very poorly executed. Many awkward instruments used poorly and randomly. Strange effects here and there. You can just tell everything here is a preset. Not a bad thing, but like analoq said, you cant really get the exact sound you want when you rely on presets. Not too bad a song, pretty borderline over all. Several iffy sections make it below the line for me. The cut-res square synth at 1:00 for one, the empty section at 1:20 for another. You aren't too far below the bar, so keep at it. NO

Weak monotonous piano and instrumentation. Everythings quantized at 1/8. The song itself, be rearranged or original simply isnt very good. Entire sections missing accompany sound rather empty. Tempo changes awkward and unneccessary. NO

I dont get it. How is this a remix? I hear the intro string resemblence, but beyond that... oh ok. at 2:22 its finally a remix. I suppose thats fine, but the majority is still original. Quality is fine. So I'm pretty borderline. NO because of that ending. Its too awkward and abrupt. Make the song longer and have more to do with the original and you'll have my yes.

I heard this waaaaay back. The cinematic feel is definately there. Very Credits-ish. The synth lead for the first minute is simply ugly. Rough and awkward. The harp sounds drastically low quality when compared to just about everything else. I like how this song has new chord progressions; not simply the same ones in the original. What I really dont like is how the theme is used in the second half of the song. Its simply not very well used. Seems like it was thrown over a different song. Lastly, and most important, the ending sucks. It just cant end like that. NO I say keep working on it. I really like how it started, but it needs a conclusion to match that build.

This is pretty Lo-fi. Issue here is that for the most part, this song sounds very thin. sfx here and there, but a lack of solid song structure. Once the main chorus gets in, we get weak bass, weak lead, and weak arrangement. Overall somewhat amateur. The idea is cool, but its below the bar. Keep at it. NO

Actually, the THUM THUM THUM thing was from the original too. This is pretty much a direct cover. Even the percussion is the same. NO way.

Cool synths I guess. Not much variation like the other guys said. Just 2 loops and effect fills. There is some original stuff at the end, but its frankly not very good. Go for more. Keep practicing. NO

So, this piano sounds rather sequenced. A lot of it is rather abrupt and edgy. Arrangement is ok. Pretty borderline on this one. I'm trying to hold to higher standards on piano songs. Please fix all those annoying grating aspects (example: 2:26 )and resubmit. NO

Off note at 1:32. Song too short and mostly repeating. I say slow things down and go for another 1.5-2 minutes. You'll have a better chance at getting it up then. Hmm, that didn't sound good. NO Also, is this song from lemmings originally? cause it does sound like something else I've heard. Lemmings is a problem like that.

Wow, this is a MUST HAVE in vgmix. I cant imagine how it wont get a NO with that kinda status. hmm... NO Short, simple, lots of sfx. The big problem is during the main chorus. Not nearly enough of a 'full' sound. Lack of bass and accompany. Following that, a pretty straight forward 'techno' transcript from the original. Towards the end, it finally starts changing up, then suddenly ends. Please make this 1.5-2 minutes longer with some real rearrangement, otherwise its just a simple techno transcript.

vox is fine. Bass is soooooooo quiet. You got the majority of the song playing the crystal piano synth while its rather hard to hear any accompany or bass. Later on that gets better with the string. Nevertheless, thats the biggest problem. Makes the whole song sound mono. I would certainly fix that. Transition at 2:16 is rather rough edged. Things like this should really be reworked. Finally, percussion is low fi, simple, and rather tame. I would work on spicing that percussion up a bit. Better ending would help as well as the song seems to end far too soon. NO
