  1. Hey, is there a chatlog available somewhere? I want something from it.
  2. So that'd be, what... 7:30 Pacific? You might see me on, sometime before you're done, depending on how much interesting is going on in real life. Certainly, having free time again means you'll see me on a nonzero amount in the future. On a similar note, I was sad to not see anyone else on in the past couple days. So I just kept playing Rumble, which is fun anyway - I'm up to level 20 now . But it would have been neat to see some people on.
  3. Alright, that works. As I said, you probably won't see much of me this coming week anyway. The week after that, though... suddenly, with Into the Woods over, you'll see me a lot more. Totally ignoring the fact that I've been procrastinating homework that should be done in advance because Hell Week is almost upon me, by posting here now.
  4. I won't disagree with you about physics, nor work, and I can't really argue with you about your boss, since I don't know the guy... but programming is awesome. Don't dis programming. Unless it's total gruntwork, or debugging code that should be working, then I won't argue with you there either. And thanks for the invite that I'll assume will be coming sometime. Also, surpremespleen, I'll make sure to see you around sometime. I'm up to lvl 19 on Rumble . Still haven't played a single ranked team game.
  5. So... I haven't, as far as I'm aware, been invited yet. Though I won't really have any time in the next week for gaming, anyway, as it's hell week of the musical I'm in starting tonight. But I'd still like to see an invite sometime.
  6. And I even promised myself I'd show up, this time. Then I was reminded that it was the One-Act Festival tonight, and I know people in said show. It was of fairly good quality, too. And I know I won't show up for shows the next two weeks, because next Saturday is the start of hell week (i.e. tech week) for Into the Woods, and the weekend after that, we're running.
  7. Coolness. I don't guarantee that you'll ever see me, but I have an account now, and as such, would love to be associated in any way with the likes of sgx and The Wingless . Feel free to add me - I'm neminem42. I was impressed that "neminem" was already taken, but apparently it was.
  8. Alright... I've been sadly lacking in the "listening in on vgf" department recently... I'm definitely listening in this time, though. I still think you need to play All Your Lifestyle Are Belong to Us .
  9. Hey LionTamer, I have a song for you to play . http://www3.hmc.edu/~afield/music/neminem_-_All_Your_Lifestyle_Are_Belong_To_Us.mp3
  10. On that note, next week, I would really like to be let in. I also have to wonder whether perhaps, Larry feels like playing one of my mashups (either I Like Models to Move It, or Eating Chips at a Gay Bar on Christmas, as both have at least trivial amounts to do with this scene (the former using a DDR song's acapella, and the latter using an 8bitpeoples' instrumental)). But more importantly, I want to jabber on the air for a bit.
  11. Yeah! The stream isn't not working, this time! Realalternative for the win!
  12. :D Even if I didn't hear about last Saturday until Sunday, which was particularly sad because all my Saturday plans fell through and I was just sitting in my room, bored... this still makes me very happy. I will definitely make sure to tune in this coming Saturday.
  13. Yeah... I don't know the original, I just listened to this song on ormgas and loved it. Beautiful piece, though I obviously don't know how much of the beauty came from the original vs. from the arrangement. I just had one gripe, like everyone else - the ending. Or rather, the lack of one.
  14. Ah! I was wondering where I'd heard the music before, because I know I had, and knew with equal certainty that I hadn't ever played the game before. As for this mix itself, I dunno... It feels like it just took the chiptune, and made another chiptune out of it. I prefer when more sweeping changes are made. But it's still a catchy tune with nice effects overlaid, so I can't complain too much.
  15. Wow. Just found this one off ormgas, and am quite impressed. Most of the first few hundred OCR tracks are mediocre at best, but not this one. The intro is moderately repetitive, but then just as I was about to gripe about that, more complexity is added. And I feel like that pause at the beginning was extended slightly more than was comfortable, but I really don't have much to complain about. Nice feel, pretty nice implementation. I just 5'd you.
  16. I would have been way happier with this remix if there was less of that sound effect that sounds like someone playing with a spring. Everything else was very nice, though. I'm definitely a fan of the genre, and I think this does it justice. And if you're wondering how I came across such an old song - you can thank ormgas for that.
  17. Hahaha... I thought this sounded a slight bit familiar. I figured out why, though - you borrowed liberally from Never Leave You (Ice Cap Remix). Except everything I liked about it is still there, only better, and everything I disliked about that track has been removed in this one. Great job! Honestly, I wouldn't like this track much if it weren't a game remix, just because I'm not that fond of hip-hop, though I'd like the background regardless. But between the hot background and the fact that it's from Sonic, this is going on my list of favorites.
  18. Nice! This makes me happy, or at least the non-"Super" tracks will. I wish I could help with remixes, but I kinda can't.
  19. Where by website, I assume you mean "ability to have the space associated with a bottom-level or near-bottom-level url"? Because everything else, I've got .
  20. As it turns out, I happened to come across this song through ormgas while fairly drunk. Due solely to the comment in the review about inebriation, I felt the need to comment that yes, indeed, I am considering this a really neat song. Will I still think that tomorrow? Probably - I'm paying attention to the amount of variation, and this level is pretty high. The instruments also seem pretty realistic, and there are some neat harmonies. So, while I might not have given it a 5/5 on ormgas if I was sober, I would almost certainly have given it at least a 4 .
  21. Yeah, probably. But this is just temporary, so...once this is an actual Site Project (i.e. in the appropriate forums), then alternate space will be found. Unless, of course, you happen to have something on-hand... Well, I'd be happy to lend some space to host any files you gave me, minus the mp3s which I see are already hosted elsewhere anyway (I have a limit of about 80 megs, and I typically use about half of it myself). But it'd be at www3.hmc.edu/~afield/<foldername>, unless you know of some way to hide a redirect to something easier. Also I don't have any way to give you access to it yourself, you'd have to zip up your update and send it my way, and I could put the update up. But if you want it, I've got it.
  22. Wow. This is awesome. Russell Cox is on it? *drool* EDIT: Way to get a webhost that has really insanely obtrusive popups, and also has a banner ad for spyware (Gator). I'm sure you could find a better one.
  23. Wow. I likewise found this song off ormgas, and felt the need to say something about it. I generally find CotMM songs between boring and downright unlistenable - they're just not my thing. The first half of the song, when it was just background, I was thinking this would be just another of the same. But then the vocals came in, and bang. This song is the first of CotMM's song I found unique in a really cool, "I'm gonna have to listen to that one again" sort of way, rather than unique in the "why would anyone bother" sort .
