  1. You know, I have a bone to pick with the DoD right now. I took part last month with a piano work and gave it my all with the performance and tech aspects, but it had to get shunted into the bottom half, behind a lot of straight covers and quirky metal. DJP is right in saying that the contest is on a metal bias, and thus I can't really say I'm totally happy with how the contest is run. Course, some of those thoughts are easing up a bit but I'm still pretty much angered over the whole thing. Okay, rant over. ; If you want to respond back to any of the above, just send me a PM. Nonetheless, Darangen has been exploding lately with his work, and his incarnation of Terra has managed to prove just that. There's a lot of variance on the theme as well as some great technical work to match up to the same level as that shown on "Warriors of Light", so we should be in for some worthwhile treats around it. Mind you... wow. I can barely find much wrong with this at all. Maybe some light EQ tendancies taken to the acoustic guitars to make them clearer than what they were? They still sounded sweet nonetheless. And a direct posting from DJP? That is showing the level of skill Mike has faced. And to think he got constant rejections from the panel three-to-six months ago! Nonetheless, be sure to keep up the good work, and a happy late birthday (May 31) too!
  2. Pink and black... mwahaha Just out of question, I know that the show's gone AWOL for a bit but whatever happened to the torrents for 50+56? Or are they being reserved for different torrent feeds altogether?
  3. For your information that's a 2-part battle (and an awesome one nonetheless). First part has you fighting against normal Metal Sonic, just like you did at the end of Sky Sanc with Sonic/Tails/S&T, and that's where the Final Boss music is played. The second part has MS using the Master Emerald to charge into Super Metal Sonic, and you fight him with the Doomsday music running in the background. Kyle, whatever happened to your Sonic knowledge these days?
  4. Even though i'm unable to mix or anything as of now (I still have done my FotS incarnation for the deadline though), i still hope to offer my vox to the project if anyone wants it
  5. Kyle, that's the final boss, not Doomsday
  6. I put a bump in your mom last night... Eh, what we need are button banners to help spread the project around; that way the people can put them in their sig to help support the project. Then again, I come up with the most insane ideas
  7. Mind you, we usually expect Snapple to come up with the good stuff, so don't be too disappointed if things don't quite go your way
  8. Talking of which, the spirit spooth cometh If you have problems trying to get that to load with the software that Kyle pointed at, I still have it rendered in MP3 format just for you. Yeah, I have way too much time on may hands
  9. Now that you think of it... is it me or can fighting of the spirit be so easy to do with MP? I might have a little experiment
  10. Or maybe Music or Music 2000? Then again having approached the former title... that was a bitch to load
  11. Funny, I was thinking the same thing o_O Emulators are only used to play game ROMs, not do anything *too* special if you know what I mean. But yeah... welcome aboard Hemophiliac
  12. Less impatience, more cream cheese
  13. About time this came up ^^ I'm game in seeing what will be able to come out of the WIPs, and once either A - the downstairs computer's soundcard/CD burner is fixed, or 2 - the upstairs computer's net connection is established i'll be sure to offer my input. It's been a long whlie since you first mentioned this on VGF, and best of luck
  14. Man, I bet this took a long while to judge... But yeah, Fatty and Sephfire have really come out sharply with a very peaceful track to adapt to the FFX-2 area of the site. I can recognise Fatty's usual hip-hop (?) style being integrated sharply within much of sephfire's new atmospheric additions (strings and piano most notably), and at a sharp enough production quality to be able to match. In fact, I love this thing I can barely find much wrong with this, but if anything I could have asked for a bit more high-spectrum instrumentation being applied, although that could be seen as nothing more than a nitpick. Still, it's a total counterpoint to Mythril Nazgul's debut effort while still being a neat mix to listen to. Kudos to the pair of you!
  15. And I bet the next thing you're going to tell me is that he doesn't use the microwave to cook the soup?
  16. Well it's not like Larry can do any better, can he? I bet all he can do is sandwiches if anything
  17. Patience, o wing-deprived one. Larry still has four other shows to upload before that, although I'll assure you it'll be well worth the wait. Now that we think of the shows from that angle, any idea on where VGFs 50 and 56 will be stored at? I don't see any torrents on Compyfox's end o.O
  18. No, really. I really, *really* love GrayLightning's work, and to see him show his contributions to this track will be really interesting to witness. Larry, Compyfox, if either of you are reading this... he is really not a jerk. Hehe... really?
  19. Like I said, the staff are only doing the restrictions to prevent flooding Nothing to do with the music quality or anything. hm... oh well, might as well bring my final few contributions to wraps
  20. At least that's what he told me at the VGMix chatterbox last night
  21. eh, Nuts... since when was the Hidden Palace theme played during the second act Robotnik encounters?
  22. Mmmm... more Nutty goodness. It'll be interesting to see what you have at hand. What, you still think this is February?
  23. Interesting campaign Paige, although let's run through what you want ^^ I dig the whipped cream part; OCR definitely needs more of its fair share in confectionaries. Hey, I try to be as active as I can you know! But yeah... we need the air fresheners, definitely. Does that mean you're going to submit your variation on T-Disco to the panel? Heheh. GrayLightning always gets a direct posting from djp anyway. I'm sold. I've had it up to here since Bladiator stuffed the fountain's plumbing system with old Batman comics, and you are now bound to make one heck of a difference. As a whole... you're getting my vote, sister! Ph33r!
  24. Dammit Dan, a... vocal Marble Garden? Funny you mention that, because I had similar visions of that kind of mix a few months back... complete with Mythril Nazgul doing a rap in the middle But eh, good luck with it. I'm definitely interested in this one
