  1. Well it's not like Larry can do any better, can he? I bet all he can do is sandwiches if anything
  2. Patience, o wing-deprived one. Larry still has four other shows to upload before that, although I'll assure you it'll be well worth the wait. Now that we think of the shows from that angle, any idea on where VGFs 50 and 56 will be stored at? I don't see any torrents on Compyfox's end o.O
  3. No, really. I really, *really* love GrayLightning's work, and to see him show his contributions to this track will be really interesting to witness. Larry, Compyfox, if either of you are reading this... he is really not a jerk. Hehe... really?
  4. Like I said, the staff are only doing the restrictions to prevent flooding Nothing to do with the music quality or anything. hm... oh well, might as well bring my final few contributions to wraps
  5. At least that's what he told me at the VGMix chatterbox last night
  6. eh, Nuts... since when was the Hidden Palace theme played during the second act Robotnik encounters?
  7. Mmmm... more Nutty goodness. It'll be interesting to see what you have at hand. What, you still think this is February?
  8. Interesting campaign Paige, although let's run through what you want ^^ I dig the whipped cream part; OCR definitely needs more of its fair share in confectionaries. Hey, I try to be as active as I can you know! But yeah... we need the air fresheners, definitely. Does that mean you're going to submit your variation on T-Disco to the panel? Heheh. GrayLightning always gets a direct posting from djp anyway. I'm sold. I've had it up to here since Bladiator stuffed the fountain's plumbing system with old Batman comics, and you are now bound to make one heck of a difference. As a whole... you're getting my vote, sister! Ph33r!
  9. Dammit Dan, a... vocal Marble Garden? Funny you mention that, because I had similar visions of that kind of mix a few months back... complete with Mythril Nazgul doing a rap in the middle But eh, good luck with it. I'm definitely interested in this one
  10. I know how you feel, but the people at VGMix are very protective over people who flood the recent releases or the WIP boards with the same song. That happened a lot during version 1, but even with that in mind I don't see it as a reason to curse against the site. That said, I can help you provide hosting through a folder on my FTP If you want you can mail the file in my direction and I'll hook it up with the masses. I'm still digging your Sky Sanc work, although then again... that may be because of my experience with the theme that I know how to see a firm establishment of the music when I see one
  11. Hehe, thanks ^^ although, I'm worried if I scared you off doing your own adaptation?
  12. While I'm here thanks for the commentary dropped off towards my Angel Island work. I'll see if I can look into the file sometime tomorrow, providing that I'm not too occupied with other things
  13. Alright, even though I asked for it I didn't get put in as a candidate for the Competition Menu theme. But, I wrote a WIP anyway. You can't have Rexy without piano coverage, am I right? Hehe. What I did was give in a light jazz piano feel towards that theme, as shown by the overall rhythmic surge towards the instrumentation itself. I was kind of hoping for a salooney feel before the racing challenges begin, which usually can be imagined to be the case for racers in real life. And for those who don't get the "bar owner" in the title, that's named after Michael Schumacher, the most notorious F1 racer from the past 10 years or so I've got the basic arrangement itself fully established, I just need a few picking upon the technical procedings. Course, the mood is a big, big twist-around from Tomorrow's Wake so that could be saying something. But be wary, I have a week left to mix stuff. Gulp?
  14. ah, now I understand O.o knowing the course of the game I think it's Mushroom Hill Zone, although I think we can do with some further clarification. (That reminds me, one of these days I'll redo my own elder incarnation in some cleaner form or other. Yeah. I hate BuzzMachines.)
  15. I think the track that people are seeing as an intro is the Data Select theme. Sorry to see things aren't quite working out though, Sora
  16. sheesh, how many people are doing hidden palace already? Anyway... yeah. While inbetween sessions of mastering down the finished incarnation for my Angel Island work I already started on a Competition Menu interpretation. I'll probably put up a minute-long demo tomorrow.
  17. Neat, Krispy's on the project Best of luck with your contribution, Joker. Mind, at my end I only have a week left to arrange, and juggling this as well as an RPGamer.com contest entry, two OCR re-subs and whatnot, time is getting rather short. I can say I've incorporated a lot of new ideas since the previous upload, which I feel will best be saved until the project is released. I am currently going through the file editing as I go through this; once it's done I'll send the finished MP3 to either KFC or Snapple (depends which one is more accessible) and that's that. Course, if the project is still in development once my sophomore year starts in mid-September I could start something else then... but who knows [EDIT: Oh, and for the record the front page stated that the files shouldn't be over -14dB in terms of RMS; how close do you expect the MP3s to be? about -0.2db out?]
  18. Same here Even though it puzzles me over how the shows will be hosted outside the Emory campus, I'm still interested in hearing into the recordings. Mind, is there any chance that he'd host some of the remaining chatlogs sometime soon (52, 53, 57, 58, 60 and 60.99)? I'm sure they seem easier to host than a lot of shows at this precise moment in time O.o
  19. Compyfox, I just knew you'd come up with a better recording of Paige's singing Thanks for putting that in as a real stocking filler.
  20. Well darn. So I just came into the labs for a good weekend trial and I found out that the Super Quartet disc has gone awol. Not good. o_O So yeah, is there any way that I can be hooked up with VSTs relating to piano, bass, drums and *ACOUSTIC* guitar? Most preferably of the live performance type? Thanks in advance
  21. For the record, I managed to record Paige's singing malarky in the aftershow. Even though I know that Compyfox will provide a better recording, I think it's almost too cool to take on cue. I love a woman who can sing on a parody. Salutations for bringing VGF to a close with a bang, Ojizzle
  22. Well knowing him I think we should be in for some interesting stuff And don't fret, Xeron - as long as you keep up with your work I'm sure you'll have a solid effort to fit on the album
  23. I won't be confused ^^ And... whatever happened to his webdrive? It's asking for a password and stuff. What gives? I even tried IE which I can access just fine, but all the files there are asking for passwords. I can access Paige's folder and file contents just fine; any idea what's happening with Larry's? But yeah, I'll be prepared to listen into the makeup show at least. [EDIT: And I did, as well as going far into the #53 re-run (you had me scared when the track suddenly switched to n-joy's OC ReMix though o_O). Best of luck with the season finale!]
  24. Any idea what is the case for the final show? And do you think he may accept phone calls for either 61 or 60.99? Because I'm destined to get hooked up once more before the show closes its doors O.O Either way... yeah. I'm going to drop my remix tools for 48 hours to see this show go off with a bang. *cue tears of happiness here* On a side note... VGF53 is up on Larry's server! Must... grab... mwahaha.
