Larry, if I were you I would have backed up the files as the editing went along. Sorry to see that happen though

The last show won't be complete without the future Mrs Lawrence Oji; get in!

What explains his half-asleep voice tone at the start of VGF 47? But yeah... I see him as a black machine alright, one that definitely strives hard to show his efforts on pimping a lot of slick music across the community, whether at OCR or otherwise

Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Project Chaos - History

Unless you want more Sonic piano, it's a bit of a no-show for me I'm afraid But yeah, we can do with someone to help out on that field. Come to think of it that would have suited AkumajoBelmont quite well o.O -
8 hours of VGF goodness = something that I MUST check out when the MP3 is up Now that I think of it, we haven't had much new since #56 from a month back. I understand given it's exams and all, though o.O

Heck, all I knew about the game was that it involved a hero that had to fight against a dragon lord (I wasn't expecting the Old English language, various maiden sub-plots and other core elements/locations of the quest i.e. the Rainbow Bridge) but I still found it too cool for kicks. I even told Larry about it prior to my call last week, even though he's all "I look into the entries after the contest is over"... where's the fun in that?

I say 2 and a half. But yeah, I actually am quite fond of DW Drama Hour. Like Flik said there could have been thought to the production aspects but I really dig the concept behind this. Even now I laugh so hard at the "phone call" with the Dragonlord ("I can't come to the phone right now, so please leave your message after the scream!") so that's saying something!

Now that we mention it... OMFG we had an 8-hour VGF?!? Someone call the record books!
-
well you have two hours left to prepare your conversational topics wisely... bwahaha. Even if you do run out of ideas, here's a light pointer - Ojizzle knows how to keep a conversation flowing and unexpecting, whether he's with Paige or without. Yay? And for the record... You do realise that this is the occasion that we were looking for, scary as it is?

If anyone wants I'll put up a betting booth over who would knock the other out in no-holds-barred wrestling - Ojizzle or the Kyle-minator

You think? Well I only have 3 weeks left on the college campus to come up with the finished product on my end. No worries, I'm sure something will come out of it, heh. -

Four-part collabs are definitely tickling my fingers already; best of luck to that one -

I have no idea what's with the 2-part sandopolis gesture either, but it sounds interesting Anyhow, yeah. I don't know how long it may be before I'd be able to put up a new WIP but I'm working on ideas. Given that my exams will be over by monday that'll leave me with more time to work on it... providing my two mix revisions and contest entry for RPGamer's "Splendid Performance" contest don't get in the way. And... what happened to AkumajoBelmont? Did I miss something? -
OCR01324 - Sonic & Knuckles "Tomorrow's Wake"

Well I personally haven't heard of the song up until now, but having been able to check it out a few minutes ago it does have a similar mood to it. Interesting analysis, mind. -

KS! Eh... yeah. I'm still messing around with ideas on my work; hopefully my academic studies will be over by Monday, leaving me with some more time to concentrate before heading home. I haven't abandoned this place yet -
Well, the show's almost here; I'm game for a call-in!
-
yeah, I was about to say the same thing Good to see that VGF is set to make its way back on the air, and kudos to TO for the aftershow recording!

OCR01346 - Sonic the Hedgehog "Live at the Springyard"
Rexy replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
ooh, this is smooth I never thought I'd hear the Spring Yard Zone theme being interpreted like that, even at a stylistic motion like what has been shown here. I appreciate a great amount of the moods as shown as a whole, as well as much of the skill as shown with much of the sequencing provisions and the guitar performance style. I also appreciate the tempo change at 3:03 - an aspect that managed to catch me by surprise. If I do tend to have some qualms here, it took me a heck of a long while to get into the vocal provisions (and even the sung vocals were shown to be rather cheesy to begin with IMO), but aside from that I found that to be a very interesting track to take in once the night starts to settle outside. Folks, I think this is one of those tracks involved in a movement of covering Sonic tracks not shown on an OC Remix before, and a quality one to boot. Be sure to keep moving on Harmony! -

yeah, that can be fair but I think the reason why they are defined as seperate is because they have totally different melody lines in spite of sharing the same syncopated synth background motif. Interesting that you both will manage to adapt to the one-track-lead-into-another approach, just in case -

no, I meant that Nuts was the other person working on Hidden Palace Given KFC's front page commentary I thought that he and his collab partner seem to stand a better chance on getting on the project at this moment in time. -

sounds like a firm idea Snapple, but what if people prefer to hear the lava reef and hidden palace interpretations as separate MP3s? o_O [EDIT: While I'm here, I'm saying that after my exams are clear (May 9th) I will spend some time polishing up most of my work-in-progress mixes as well as steadily work on some piano backlogs to gradually submit over the vacation. In that case, I want you to put me in for a big, BIG maybe on the Competition Menu. Please? ] -

Master Hatchet... dammit, his take on Ken's theme (Street Fighter II) for the past DoD was awesome, and it sounds great to have him on board. Acoustic Data Select? Interesting. Given that source is the one that would start off the project (I think) I have good hopes for how this would come around While I'm here, I can say I've been playing around with the re-writing of the middle portions of my contribution. Hopefully I might go back to it today, and with a bit of luck we may have a fresh MP3 on hold. I've also been spending a lot of time yesterday doing something else relating to the project, but I'd rather keep that as a secret even to Sithlord -
OCR01345 - Ninja Gaiden 2 "Ninjascape"
Rexy replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
Can I do the first comment dance? Yeah, I remember this from the November/December Free Month within the DoD - we can do with more mixes from there to come here (I can recall Ryan8bit's "Grief of Aktemto" also coming from there). Arrangement is great, and the overall tone has managed to show much of the broad tones as shown from Ashane as of late. Definitely broad stuff. One thing that I still feel curious over is towards the drum expression - didn't quite feel as dynamic as expected, but this is still pretty well thought out. Anyhow, if you're reading this Ashane, welcome to the OCR bandwagon. -

We're not flaming - we're just trying to piece together this small part of the mixing jigsaw Anyhow, fingers crossed that I might have something for tomorrow - gonna be a bitch mastering everything again... ;
